  • @EdneyNC Yes, call her, write to her, anything. Life is too short. Watch the movie, Pay It Forward. Can't we all get along?

  • May the Lord richly bless you and mend your broken heart.

  • Hey what's the old Rodster up to?

Hopefully he's doing something to get a cop to bust him upside his head. That always does him some good.

  • Can't we all just get along? Who said that? Rodney King.

  • this is a good song

  • It's impossible to know what people were thinking in the past--like how could a cringe-inducing piece of slop like this have become a hit record--and one of the biggest of Bobby Bare's career?

  • highnrising ~ This song was recorded when Bobby Jr was five. Lighten up. They are just spreading love as exemplified in God's creations.

  • I'm assuming you just don't know anything about the past, cause' you damn sure don't know anything about music whether it's in Balled style or Acid Rock that you were so fond of!! Don't deny it......Grunge!!!

  • @highnrising

Cringe inducing? You really need to study what music is all about-you're missing out in life.

  • i love his songs, my fav. is marie laveau, and this one.

  • Written by the great Shel Silverstein!

  • This was my Dads and my song. I played it over and over and over again. Today is the 1 year anniversary that my Dad passed away. I miss him so much. :( Thank you for posting.

  • that was cute!

  • This song makes me think of my children and makes me cry every time I hear it. You just can't beat Bobby Bare. Please somebody post Margie's At The Lincoln Park Inn.

  • i love this song but i hate how bobby bare turned out to be!

  • Which Bare are you referring to?

  • He/she has to be referring to Jr. I can't stand the "music" he plays, either, but I'm sure Bobby Sr., like the rest of us, loves his son and will stick with him until death. He is a talented person and has to know his son's "alternative" performances can be classified as nothing more than noise. My opinion.

  • You just don't get it cod!! Talent is too far over your head!Although since you seem to know everything,I feel certain you already know that also!!!~!

  • I get it, cod. It's just that you don't know what talent is. Sorry, noise is noise and is not even tolerable, let alone enjoyable.

  • You need to listen to yourself sometime if you really need to hear noise, and it would take the pressure off everyone else!

  • Thanks for all the wonderful advice, "he who can't resist answering 2-month-old YouTube posts". Sorry you don't know your ass from a holw in the ground and can't see the forest for the trees -- to quote a couple of applicable yet worn-out cliches -- but, not my problem.

Are you "above" Merle Haggard's head, or George Jones' head? If not, you're not above my head.

Goodbye forever and good luck, you'll definitely need it.

  • Okay,Arabhead, Just one LAST QUESTION; What in the Hell is a HOLW in the ground?? I wonder if it is anything like that hole in you thick-ass head!
