@Professoranton it first interpretets a human voice(or line of ASCI text), then he translates it to Bits(binary-code). Throw it in the machine it's self, does the same procces but in reverse, whoila you have your awnser
@Professoranton it receives a text version of the jeopardy "question" at the same time that the contestants see it on the screen. It also receives a text copy of the "answer" if someone else gets it correct so that it can learn. Otherwise it has no audio in capability.
I'd like see the entire Google cache loaded into Watson, and have it answer questions in the "answer with explanation" model demonstrated by Wolfram Alpha.
