@GodOfSwat yes Allied did purchase BFI back in the 90's but according to some viewers they say that pacific was a division of Allied Waste. they kept the Laidlaw colors for quite some time until going with the company name. changed the name and thus pacific waste was born. just like Allied is a division of Republic
i thought all the zarns were old BFI ones and dose Allied still use toter they should use roto because the new toters are square and look like for Simi auto trucks
1:33 that Rehrig is my favorite cart of all time if i could buy that cart i would and awsome Pacific/allied Waste curotto can Wittke FL loved those trucks
@AlliedWaste76 i'm not the real rehrig lover, but I have to tell you those rehrigs are awesome. those and the chunky squared ones. love the black lid and then the blue bin. Thanks!!
Whoa that is a BEAUTIFUL looking truck, love those wheels like you can see at 0:56! Flipping lids, yay!!!
1:43 was great :D That's the kind of service you *don't* get with ASLs like we have up here...that driver was cool as hell haha I hope you find him again. I think 2:39 was the first time we've seen one of the new Mcneilus FLs with sound!!
This vid was TOTALLY a fav, I agree with 243, best Curotto vid so far. Keep it up man
@Trashman242 yeah I actually found him again, but he wasn't flipping lids that time. He was late for his collection, he was an hour late so I guess he was trying to hurry up! It turns out hes the sub for my recycle driver, or one of my recycle drivers! its because my normal recycle driver is always out! I never have subs in the yard waste its funny! Trash, once on a blue moon but yard waste never!
those new mc neilus trucks are nice i like the cng tanks on the top but i dont like the tiny tailgates howcome some residents had rehrig carts they look like the ones in the video trash can controversy
@100Burrtec100 i know right whats up with mcneilus and the small ass tail gates? and the rehrigs, you see Laidlaw back then invested in the rehrigs and zarns and ect. , pacific orded some too, the last rehrig ever shipped to them was about 15 years ago. then pacific started investing in toters.
awesome video! Please get more, longer videos of this truck for sure! I love the speed and lid flipping. Sure adds a lot more interest and character to the truck. great vid, fav for sure
@3amrepmike3 i'll try, right now there's only new trucks, all the old ones are dissapering one day at a time. There becoming rare which is akward since i've seen those trucks since the beginning of time! but i'll try to get more! The older trucks that are still in the yard and not in the lot (the lot: where they put the old trucks to prep to get rid of) are spares, not driven by regular drivers!
Awesome, it is great to see a truck from Allied not painted blue, also another awesome thing is this truck is flipping lids, I dont think that nanyone has filmed much of a Curotto flipping lids yet, and that big box being collected is just awesome. That newer CNG truck also is nice, but the older one is better :)
Hey dude, this is my favorite AW vid on youtube btw. and I love the rehrigs in the vid. And did he skip the bin at 2:48?
