Nokia N95 8GB Problem with video

Is this phone of you a slide phone? Because slide phone is a bad phone. You need to buy a phone that cant slide. I have a slide phone and it restarts everytime and automatically shutdown when I am trying to listining music or radio or trying to make a movie. Now I have buyed another phone that cant slide and that phone works perfectly without any problems. It is fast and its my best phone. I have throwed my slide phone very fast on the ground and now I have only the good phone left!=) I love it!

Notice the red light on back of the phone when you are filming if its flashing then it lags if its only lighting there is no lag. I have same problem and dunno how to fix it :((

No need to format or software update coz, I got N95 8gb V35 and Nokia has V32 available so updating from v35 to v32 suckx, THANKZ again and again to to who uploaded this video to start initiating solutions.....

look take my advice is that on a warranty when you bought it? to me it works a ok...... if ever try to replace a new one return it to the store you get it maybe theres a factory defect... your a customer and a consumer...... we consumer had rigths to complain deffect products be buy. or bring the phone to the expert technician let it check if is bugged or virus that makes the phone video slows down... while recording. the last is try to format it manually finds solutions here at u tube ok!

store ur  vids in fone memory not in mass memory.

I have the same problem. I know how to fix, you have to delete some pictures and some video's (: mine works again nog so maybe this wil help 4 you.

Just format the mass memory and then do a hard reset *#7370# and everything will work just fine. I had the same problem and this fixed it for me. But back up ur data on your pc first.

Same with me... reformatted once and have had no problems. Upoading to youtube is hit-n-miss with quality. Upload to ovi . com and quality is always smooth.

I started getting this problem, I ended up formatting then re-flashing the phone to the latest software update from the update suite. Seems fine now. (apparently this video glitch is caused after transferring lots of files like music and videos etc to the phone via pc) - jus what i heard. sux tho it shouldnt happen

you dont need to format ur phone just plug in ur phone in mass storage mode and defragment it

do this after you moved a lot of files or installed a lot of apps.

reformating ur phone and installing all the apps again is just pointless

if it still occurs try to remove python if you have it installed

or just record on your phone memory and then move it to 8gb instead!

No, reboot didn`t work out, so finally I did format the mass memory, and then the hard reset. It seems ok now. I hope that cured the problem.

Nope! It sucks again, just like my other N95 8GB v20.0.016 was.I`ve checked this bug on the internet but I still haven`t found a real solution.I heard about formating the mass memory and all the stuff, and some succeeded with it, and fixed the problem ,but for some it did not.I`ve found one intresting thought though, if you reboot your phone before taking videos.I know that sounds stupid "reboot my phone everytime I wanna take a video?" but until they fix this issue I`ll give a try.

you have to format your mass media drive with your phone. Back up your stuff in your mass media drive to your PC, then go to Settings->Utilities>Memory. Then click Options and Format mass memory. After it's done, your videos should be fine.

Well read this i bought the N95 8GB US version i had this problem sent 1 back got another 1 same thing used mass memory and found out a lot about the phone i no longer have the prblem i fixed u can 2 there's nothing wrong reformatt the mass memory then try to record something

Hi, there is no fix. I have the same problem, I also requested a replacement and the same problem occurred on the replacement. I did my own troubleshooting and noticed that this problem will happen after you either install an app and save it to phone memory, or save anything to phone memory/mass memory. After awhile, the video recording will start pausing after 3-5 seconds, or it varies. Switching to phone memory resolve the issue, but your limited to 5 mins. of video.

intresting you should say save anything to the phone memory, after i saved a film to my phone that is where it went tits up.. have been searching around i heard that nokia are not intrested in this problem,. so i am going to do my best to let people know that nokia are not intrested..

@vnepo When I bought my phone off some dude I upgraded the firmware and it still lagged, so again...you're wrong! defragmenting fixed the issue and the phone ran like new. That is the cure instead of reformatting the phone and losing all your data. Take my advice, Im a pro

is ur firmware v15??.... im use n95 8gb with firwmware version 15 is ok.. no problems.. ^^ use Nokia Software Updater from Nokia.. to update your firmware.. if ur using v15 reinstall it.. use NSU
