@videogamelover315 on what kind of screen did you look at it? might be clear that you can't see any difference on 17 inch, but if you take a look at it at 42 inch, it makes a huge difference if youre looking a standard dvd or a 1080p Bluray (assuming that it was created by 1080p compatible format).
i couldn't compare a dvd to bluray, the colours are much brighter because of the codec, everything's smooth, the resolution is much higher and the sound world better.
@DanielWinterAt well it is technically the same but the scanner/lazer is blue making it finer/tjinner than the average dvd cd-rom. this makes it so u can burn more bumps into the cd making it hold more memory, but in the end they are technically the same thing cept the fact that the bottom of a blueray has a special layer of plastic to protect it since earlier models scratched easily.

@redmagicb4life LOL dude your funny. Yes the PS3 controller is a bit spendy but they last a long time and actually all controllers are in the $50 range, Wii, PS3 and 360.
Wii kind of pissed me off though. Nintendo should give all Wii owners a free Wii Plus sensor, instead they want me to pay another $20, I'm like WTF, I already paid $50 for the freaking controller! Now I'm supposed to spend another $20 to fix their mistake? God that pisses me off.

HDTV is here, that's all that's sold anymore. Any adult knows it's a wise choice to go with the console that not only provided HD movies but also has an internet browser and acts as a video streamer (like netflix). Xbox does netflix but must pay M$ $60/year. Plus PS3 got the best line up of exclusives, best motion control, free online play, it's everything, that's for sure.

There, you have a good reason, however it's a terribly lot of money to spend on a gaming system that offers the least amount of features, most unreliable in history of gaming, is the only one that is pay to play and is affiliated with M$, both companies are a scam. Example Halo 2 for PC was Vista only, total scam, all PC games are multi OS but that one.
