I didn't say she sounded bad, this songs lyrics are really emotional and powerful, and my personal opinion was that she didn't put enough emotion into the lyrics or the way she sang it in general. For instance in her first chorus she sings the words quite beautifully but her words lack the intensity and emotion in which the song was written. A song of this caliber requires that every word sang is not only sung but that the singer must also believe and comprehend what she's saying.

(ie. this song and her original "CandyMan") Amanda is extremely talented in an non-conventional way and I think Dylan is also. She would fair very well doing a cover of dresden dolls for these reasons. :)
