i would sooooooooooooo by the game if your countries were a whole unit as opposed to a large field...in other words i wish it was more like the board game AND shogun total war the original when you move an army into a country ur attacking the whole country...if u switch between the 2 i would sooooooooooooo buy the new shogun! BUT i dont really like the free moving kind of territory idea...

@ToWhomGodWill usually it dissapears... tho it wouldnt be a bad idea if it stayed. it just would be strange to either have it block off another general possibly blocking off the way to a spot or have a generals feet inside the dead generals stomach tho. lol

It would be funny to be an assasin. In the medieval era you would need to hide in a bush to come in a city. In Shogun you will get touched by male soldiers xD

The assasins have a really "good" job :P

I always thought that assassin cooperation should be part of these games or that it should be possible with successful kill but unsuccessful escape.

And perhaps also unsuccessful assassination (with both successful and unsuccessful escape) where the surviving target is then left with a permanent/semi-permanent trait(from a wound or something like that).

shogun II is gonna be awesome, i really like the italian and the egyptian campaign in napoleon total war, but only regretfull it were small parts of the game. i really hate one big continent splitted up in some regions! shogun is different, it is one small country splitted up in many regions

I really hope that they don't mess this up like they did with Empire. I got Empire a little late, so I didn't have as much trouble with it, but it still has never been up to par with Rome or Medieval 2.

For the record, though, I loved Napoleon.

looks great but i'd prefer a remake of Rome Total War...it could be the BEST strategy game so far, a bit more charakter skilling and more politic and its perfect ^^
