  • Old school...speed, power....love it!

  • Excelente ejecucioón, y pareciera que el sable tenía vida propia con esos moviemiento tan fluidos y bien marcados.

  • It looks so effortless when he does the flips i'm actually so gobsmacked.

  • baaaaaaaaaaddaaaaaaasssssssssss

  • seems like there's one really fanatic YWQ fan in the bg. HAO!!!

  • give me his number he's coming with my in a zombie outbreak

  • @ROCK1337ful haha awesome

  • wtf.... the first punch... amazing

  • wushu these days looks so bad with nandu (looks more like gymnastics rather than martial arts)

    oh well

  • @rayingtons seriously man...i'm not a huge fan of nandu either. the tricks themselves are impressive, but i feel they belong somewhere else other than wushu.

  • yeah, i also read an interview with another wushu player, they said they had picked up his broadsword and it was heavy as hell.

  • Actually, the broadsword he uses in this video is pretty flexible. IIRC it was in 1997 that he used a really stiff and heavy broadsword.

  • @prseinziger99x lol its true the guy that said that was my si puk jason yee.

  • Okay....now that is very cool.

  • it's not powder.. it's chalk.

  • its chalk indeed, but its still powder.

  • OMG!!! i dont want to meet him in battle! :o

  • Best Wushu profesional the world has seen.

From the best province team China has.

And had the best coach/shifu/trainer China ever had.

  • askwushujeeves all the training blade is flexible, and the DAO SHU is flexible

  • actually, it was only until the late 90s that they began using flexible dao shu. before that, all dao shu had to be stiff. you just had to be really strong to use one. now, just like the respectable martial arts of wushu, the entire system is being butchered so that anyone can just do it.

  • what askwushujeeves was saying was that yuan wenqing practiced with a heavy blade and not a flexible one. it is a fact that the swords have been getting lighter and more flexible over the past ten year. just ask those who competed in the 70's and 80's

  • yes like the jian shu

  • if you watch some of his other videos. you will find that the dao shu isn't flexible. yuan wen qing is just strong as hell

  • Is the DAO sword flexible like the jian sword too???

  • nope. he is just incredibly string

  • OH MY GOD!!! That mustve been the fastest swordsmanship ive ever seen. He could sure carve you into pieces in half a second.

  • needs background music ^-^

  • no, it does not... for those who practice wushu...its better when there is no music....

  • yeah, it needs music.

  • it is not a dance...it wushu taolu, if you want to see some dancing with music go find som other videos...

  • hey man, i just wanted to get my funk on while i watch this video. stop trying to kill the rythm of wushu man. wushu-mood-music-musical killer!!!

  • when was this one filmed?
