  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj The chassis and AWD system. The EVO's handling kinda blows the RA's out of the water. The single scroll spools faster on the RA, but the twin scroll can be tuned for more power...course if you have the SST in either car, your gonna be limited to around 320 WTQ MAX since the clutch is gonna start to slip after 400 lb/ft at the tranny. Yes there are clutch pack...they also cost a TON of money to get and install (I would not attempt this yourself unless your a mitsu tech).

  • i got a 2007 galant, and i was considering about getting a lancer GTS or RALLIART,i dont know why the suspention of the galant is so sux and unrefined, i feel uncomfortable when making big turnings.

  • It still doesn't match up to the Mazdaspeed 3. That car is still kicking every cars ass, its being compared to. The Subaru WRX impreza, & the sport wagon, Hyundai Genisis, Volkswagen GTI.

    Hell, the only car that actually outdoes the Mazdaspeed3, within its class is the Honda Civic, due to its "practicality" The Mazda just isn't practical for some ppl.

    Doesn't matter, I did a lot of research before I bought mine, & I love it! =] It even had an Audi a4 2.0t

  • @AirforceBabydoll It is a great car. I just don't like hatchbacks (nothing against them, they're practical but the look isn't for me). The reason I like the Ralliart is that if you just bolt on a bit more power it's unstoppable with its TC tranny and AWD. You can do more as a tuner with the Ralliart than the Mazda. But still... the 3 kills everything stock in its class.

  • @therookie93 No the WRX is the king of this class from a stock perspective. Especially since the 2011 WRX has better suspension setup (still has a weak AWD system so bad for tuning deeply).

  • @ColdNapalm42 Yeah I forgot the ol' rex. Yeah that's a good car too. Either way, both the subie and mitsu are better slammed than the mazda3 is. AWD will eventually triumph.

  • Why during the first part of the video with the Mitsubishi guy as a passenger do they have the Recaro seats and a sunroof but then at the end when he gets to the stop sign and is by himself the seats have changed and the sunroof is gone? Different cars?

  • I have a ralliart, its a great car, very fast, very easy to mod up to evo x horsepower. EWM, some dealers will install that option, completely dependent on the dealer. If you are in cali, go to south coast mitsu, they have everything.

  • A great price? my friend bought his for $39,995 here in canada. that's 40 grand, for 227 hp? a carryover suspension from the previous generation mr? smaller brakes, and lesser wheels than the evo? This thing is ridiculously overpriced, so much body roll in turns. One of most porky sporty cars on the road today. Go mazda or gti any day before this piece. WRX 265 would be ultimatum, but it's gonna cost ya. (small hint 265 is faster than STI still saving $)

  • This is not the new Evo; it's the new Ralliart; with an Evo engine, but not an Evo; If you want OK fast and lots of people staring, get the Ralliart, if you want FAST and lots of expensive car owners seeing your tailights, get the Evo; assuming you're looking at Mitsus only; but the 09 WRX owns the Ralliart in the performance dept; I still got an RA cause it looks way better and it's got potential (an Evo engine and Evo 9 drivetrain)

  • i think there's a manual, and then a clutchless manual with the paddle shifters.....i think, better check me on that

  • There is no option for a clutch pedal transmission, even though the TC-SST is actually NOT an automatic transmission, it has no torque converter, this thing shifts in under 40 milliseconds of pressing the paddle or shifter, there is no need for a clutch pedal.

  • Theres no Manual version for the RAlliart. It only comes with the TC-SST, which is a Manu-matic or a Automanual (whichever way you want to say it) The Lancer comes with a CVT which has optional Paddle Shifters on the GTS, and the Evo comes in a GSR (Manual) and an MR (Paddle shifter)

  • yeah this car in canada cost 35k, then 5k for the tech option (seats,navi,bluetooth,sound system). Soo lame if i'd say haha, also the DSG dual clutch is slow compared to other cars and it's proven that its quicker to shift with the GSR than the MR.

  • If you want the double clutch gearbox in the evo, you have to get the MR trim which has an msrp of 38,290. the ralliart has a 28,435 msrp with recaro package. So it's closer to 10,000 difference than 3,000. If you want the 5-speed manual transmission, the evo GSR is only 32,990 msrp.

  • well it depends on the driver can drive a standard or not.....theirs no point to buy a evo X if someone cant drive a stick

  • Just bought a Ralliart, I hate to say it...I love the car. It isn't a Evo, but in this economy with a better MPG with just the fun, also a great price for me. I got it fully loaded for $27,000. I love it so far and trust me you can't tell the difference. I recommend it for those who don't want to pay the 38+K for a 09 Evo.

  • From what I have been looking into, due to I have not yet added aftermarket parts. Some of the aftermarket parts that fit on a 08 EVO fit on the 09 Ralliarts and EVOs. There aren't a lot of body kits out there for the 09s. I will be checking into it a bit more. But to answer your question, It depends on what part you are looking for.
