It's amazing how the music in this game varies from being awesome for 8-bit standard (Sunset Park Act 3) to so utterly terrible (Metal Sonic's boss music). I can also remember seeing a 'special thanks' credit to 'H. Kojima' at the end of the game - does anyone know if this is the same Kojima of Metal Gear fame? I'd be quite interested if someone could shed some light on this. :-)

Defintely the best game gear sonic game in the world. I used to own this game + game gear when i was small. Around the super nintendo days. I loved this game very much, was the best sonic game i ever played in my life outside of the sega genesis.

The emerald stages (1st, 3rd, and 5th) are extremely MUCH MORE unique compared to the genesis games how there's a time limit of 1:29, and having to play a long and very confusing stage to find the emerald. I wish the genesis did that seriously.

I still have my copy of Triple Trouble along with my Game Gear, but it's nice to know someone can actually do this, because God knows my 5 year old self couldn't. Yeah, it is strange that Knuckles managed to get his hands on a machine like that. Then again, in Sonic Advance 2, you had to fight Knuckles in a boss robot machine, and it turns out Knuckles was duped by Eggman again. Perhaps Eggman gave it to him or something, since both of them are trying to stop Sonic getting the Chaos Emeralds.

The names are just interchangable. Robotnik is the character's "real" name, Eggman is a nickname. I don't favour one or the other to be honest. I use both.

It's weird but they confirmed that that wasn't Knuckles but Chuckles (named by the fact that he laughs all the time) The way you tell them apart is there socks. Knuckles has green socks and Chuckles has yellow socks.
