  • hole e crapp why am i so dumb founded

  • you can buy some if you search Blue Marble Products on Ebay.

  • You can get that sand in El Salvador, Central America :p I lived there maybe I should get some sand now that I have a big neodymium magnet

  • where do you get that sand?, thanks

  • @LionCome Beach in Viequez, Puerto Rico

  • @jrizos thanks

  • @khfung92

Pinch it with your fingers. About 200,000 times.

  • Interestin g!

  • it's like a wooly willie!!!!!!

  • Where do u get them and how much is it

  • put the sand on you balls and on the other side put magnets there 0_o

  • I put my magnets in a film container. Way easier to clean off the black sand.

  • @kabster

    Good point!

  • Just put the magnets in a plastic sandwich bag before you put the magnet near the black sand. Remove the magnet from the bag, and the magnet is still clean. Easy peasy.

  • Cool, and how u will clean the magnets, now is the question?

  • lol thats cool!

  • i did that in science class lolz we all got free onez tehe

  • how many hours did you take to clean them?

  • to clean them, just take a strong, strong electromagnet, and it will all go to it. then turn the electromagnet off, and the magnetite falls off the electromagnet... its that easy ;)

  • @iOverride what if i dont have a strong strong electromagnet D:

  • thats pretty awesome! btw GL on getting the sand off those magnets now lol

  • you forgot about wiping the earth magnets off the neodymium, try something more challenging like cutting paper into perfect slices with a new razor blade

  • Use it to charge your drinking water, do some research how magnetics help water and growth

  • Now clean up the mess on the magnets, sissyboy!

  • It looks like Vegeta's hair...

  • more like raditz hair

  • It's Jamie Hyneman's moustache!

  • ha! you said "neodium"! what a klutz!

  • @mrmoe18 - that is unfortunately the first thing I noticed too, after that I lost interest in trying to learn anything from the video...too bad

  • looks just like metal shavings

  • they are metal shavings...

  • and how do you get that powder off?:D

  • you dont :p lol

  • actually it is an iron ore a raw materials for making iron it is abundant in the beaches or costal town of Sorsogon, and Zambales in the Philippines

  • once is good.

  • LOL

  • looks like my hair on bad days

  • add oil to that sand it looks cooler...

  • FRESCA!!!!!!!

  • sucks

  • thats realy neat, i have done this with my little ceramic magnets and i crushed it up into powder and i play with it but it gets black crap all over your fingers but hey if i subscribe to you will you subscribe to me?

  • I have a cubic inch of N-50 neodynium. N-50 is the strongest type of neodynium. It was really hard to find.

    Thats probably N-20.

  • lol how long did it take to get all of it off?

  • that looks like my dick. all hairy

  • lol

  • isa hairy magnet!

  • get out of the light man!!! DUH

  • Why didn't you cover your magnets with a plastic caps and tape around it 1st to simplify cleaning them later ?

Anyway, Nice idea to create a 3D viewable magnatic flied.

    Thanks

  • sweet

  • isent it like inposibell to get all the sand off of the magnet once it has come in contakt?

  • thats alot of iron sand! whered u get that? (btw u sed neodium its nee-oh-dy-mee-um

  • oops sry nee-oh-dim-ee-um

  • Good luck cleaning those off LoL also work on your pronounciation of neodymium...

  • Mini-beards!

  • Boy, that's the most beautiful experimental display of magnetic flux I have ever seen! Thanks.

  • man that isnt sand that iron shavings and that stuff is hard to get off magnets and i no bcuz in 6th grade he got some magnets and one of our teachers had that stuff and we'd drop our magnets in there and play with it all day man alfet a while that eat away at your finger skin

  • you should always put a plastic bag over the magnets.. its 1000000000000 times more easier to wipe the powder off like that

  • You first would try withouth bag!, I supose!. WBR

  • all u have to do is go to any childrens sand box and stick any magent it in to get it this guyse has so much tho omg

  • you should upload more of your videos man

    damn interesting

  • Here's a question... How do you clean it up when you're done? I mean.. get the dust off the magnets.

  • how many make your own mustache toys did you have to bust open to get that bowl?

  • cool vid its just what Ive been studying ,The flux of the magnet.

  • I have been doing lots of experiments and I have not detected that the sand has done anything to screw up the magnetic field.

Furthermore, the magnets are solid-state so the only place the sand ends up is stuck to either pole. 90% of it pulls off with my fingers, the rest takes time and effort, but it can be "wiped" clean with a clean finger after coaxing the sand to a single pole by running the magnet stack along the dirty ones individually. Wrap them in a sandwich bag if excessively anal.

  • it will not effect the magnets grade like alnico magnets the only way to effect the magnets strength is through the curie point

  • Was that the first time you've done that because I got into trouble at school for getting iron filings all over a magnet? My teacher couldn't get them off and said I'd ruined the magnet.

  • eat it lol just kidding....

  • all i can say is "Good luck taking those off"

  • You love the (magnetic) pole!

  • Meh, what a feg.

  • Great work AllBalls.
