Interesting stuff.Though I'm curious,wouldn't the coroner have been able to determine forensically whether the victim sustained the head wound post or pre-mortem? Or have just been watching to much CSI,lol?

Well other factors would come into play at the mortuary,surely.Or are all the forensics programmes wrong?Submersion in water wouldn't necessarily dispose of ALL evidence,and not only blood would determine pre or post,at the scene or further into the investigation at the mortuary.I imagine other tests would be implimented to determine whether or not an injury was caused before or after death.Just a thought.
