Fuck the lawyers! this was history.... and would have saved the company money as well as made some small town very happy! This plabe was in prime shape, and I have been on it many times out of PHX on test bed runs. It was a pampered jewel. May the rath of hell fall upon the bastards who brought this about! Ih the company fails, I give this old loyal plane all the glory!

Plenty of museums would take her.... But in today's society money is more worth than history. Shame on everyone involved in the scrapping!

Why did they not cut off the cockpit? Having an original 720 or 707 cockpit in the yard is no mistake.

No doubt about it,she was a classic.
Members of the flight crew who had flew her signed their names on the starboard side of the nose a few days prior to her being scrapped.
Sad day for this lovley classic.
