I may have done this SO as well. A few of us engineers pulled TX duty between CH52 & CH58. The announcers name was Eric Luskin. Another sign-off was done by Norm Busby. I liked it better. THIS TX SITE HAS A CURSE! Almost every engineer that pulled duty there, either broke-up with his long time girlfriend, had marital problems or went crazy. One guys wife died mysteriously. I used to go on the roof at night and stare at the lights of the "twin towers" in the distance. You worked ALONE at this TX.
Did you ever capture the sign-off song that NJN used in the '90s? In lieu of the Star Spangled Banner, they used a pop music song about New Jersey, overlaid with NJ-related video scenes.
Enjoying your DXing, used to see many of these also when in WTFDA. I (tentatively) received this station's channel 58 repeater from DC area. It was the hourly NJN audio/voice ID, but instead of the regular calls, the announcer said "WNJB one, fifty-eight, Long Branch". WNJB-1 is their low power repeater also on ch58. I always thought that was lucky to get that past the full power signal of WNJB. Then again, maybe it was just a mix up. Since both are on same freq., I'll never know for sure.
Soon to conclude permanently :-(

From DC, that's pretty far. I'm from the DC area myself and I once got WNJS station myself.
However I that was the UGLIEST sign-off screen I've ever seen.
