Stereotypes should never be taken too seriously. It's a wonderful thing that all nations have their lovely little oddities.
To me it's something to tease someone from another country in a funny way and to laugh about it.
For example I like british comedy about us germans.
The only thing that bothers me somtimes, is that germans always play the part of the evil bad guy in hollywood movies, so everyone thinks that germans are cold monsters.

Hello Chris, thanks so much for your feedback. I have had many people tell me "I cannot think of anything" at first and return later with an abundance of ideas. These things are so implicit, they are difficult to grasp.
In any case, your video itself said much more about Germany than just engineering and perfectionism. Perhaps you should another look at it?
