u cant have bottem dwellers with them they will eat my bottem dwellers i dont think so i have a 8 inch eel as a bottem dweller

Are they fully aquatic, or do i need to put some bog wood or stones that come out of the water in for them? I have a tank with fully matured water, but transferred the last of the fish into a 65 L, now i wanna put some red claw's in =]

@Ettio137 - No, they need to come out of the water, they will need a path to the surface. Make sure you have no bottom feeding fish, or small ones as they will eat them. Also live plants.

@casha4 - they survive better in Brackish water, you can make your own and buy the salt at pet stores, just don't use much ... check online for making it

Plenty for freshwater you can have fancy gupppies, platies, angelfish etc.

For saltwater you can have scorpionfish, tangs, clownfish, morays, etc.

yes slat is valuable to growth and malting so is a dry place but add little bits of slat at a time to make sure your other tank mates dont get shocked

HELL YES THEY DO!!! I wanted a puffer so bad JUST so I could feed it ramshorn snails that were building up in my tank. Crabs pinchers are strong so that they can crack clams and snails and whatnot. Pet crabs are often spoiled and don't but if you starve them for a week you'll find crushed snail shells on their rock or 'basking' space. They need rocks to climb onto so they can dry off.

You can get salt from local fish/pet stores, which you add to already treated water. You will also need a thermostat in there to keep the temp warm.

The warmer the better and your crab needs land.

yes, they usually fight, i have 6. you can feed them vegtables, and bloodworms.
