  • mmm i wonder if gordon brown and tony blair used that line - "it's all in the wrist..."? Well, Roger Moore wherever you are, your films gave us all happy memories and this song has to be the all time high of them all. FAB!

  • "Then I shall use players privilege and use your lucky dice......It's all in the wrist......Double six....Fancy that."

  • like if you were bored and you typed in octopussy

  • Wonderful song and a good bond movie.

  • song, singer, band and credits, this is an all time high :)

  • Beautiful song.

  • When I first heard the name "Octopussy" I just thought "No sexual innuendo what so ever."

  • @Matrilwood I was the same way.

  • 3 people are OCTOFAGGOTS

  • @srblackbird1 that sir- is highly funny.

  • nice melody

  • Back before video players we had to wait and wait and wait for the next Bond Movie to come out in the Cinemas.... still they were the best days

  • There are many great Bond songs and I do enjoy this one as well.

  • what a great song, and Roger Moore was still the best Bond (though I can't think of a bad Bond)

  • I can fly when listen this song.....

  • i love this song.....

  • I wish I had an Octodick

  • 3 people have an Octodick.

  • @rweerakkody4565 Wouldn't every guy want that? :P

  • @rweerakkody4565 I don't have an Octodick but a Bonddick.

  • Respond to this video... 195 BONDDICKS VERSUS 3 OCTOPUSSIES.

  • 1 person has an Octodick.

  • Roger Moore = The best bond

  • Great song, great movie. I lived in the 80's and I agree with you..... I watched this film and rememberd so much.

  • @TomNippert35 its rita coolidge.

  • NICE MUSIC

  • beautiful song!

  • Still can't get over the title! XD

  • Back when Bond was classy.

  • One of the best James Bond theme songs. Just love this.

  • @elcaminodelrey And Goldeneye theme:D

  • 1 dislike. What a douche, probably never got laid or fell in love.. poor bastard.

  • @FirstClass176 Blofeld.

  • Great theme great film

  • This Bond movie have the most beautiful bevy of women and they can kick-ass. And what a title...not politically correct but who cares.

  • great, roger moore is only bond

  • @zxcqa1 not only bond, he was also The Saint too :P

  • Best Bond song Ever!

  • @adventurerider105 My second favourite. I'm a "die-hard underground electronica fan", but I have View To A Kill on my iPod and blatantly sing along when no-one is about and I have my tunes on. That's my fave, but respect to anyone who loves this as much (if not more) than me. I'm on an all time high.

  • I hear the next Bond film (Bond23) will be released in 2012. Although Daniel Craig will return again, the producers need to go back and reinvent the charisma, romance, and passion that was so prevalent during the Bond old school years.

  • Roger Bond

  • Love anything Bond and Shirley Bassey, Plus the John Barry orchestra...awesome.

  • @Traindriver577 Sorry it is not Shirley. It is Rita Coolidge.

  • beautiful , the best bond theme and the best bond

  • Sean connery was the best bond .. Moore was ok..

  • This theme IS THE best bondtheme as far.So bloody beutiful.

  • Well i'm Scottish and i think old Rog was the best Bond so there!

  • I always thought Roger was better than Sean. He was so Cool

  • connery is the greatest though

  • Brosnan is better than Moore, Connery, and Craig combined...

  • @TygerXG2 Mooore carried the the james bond barand in his time however the closest version to bond in term of the nature of the chrachter going by the book has to be dalton

  • Roger Moore, the best Bond. And his best movies, the spy who loved me,Moonraker and Octopussy.

  • James Bond forever. Roger Moore the best James Bond.

  • James Bond forever .Roger Moore the best

  • His Majesty as James Bond .He is the best James Bond. With al my consideration to the rest.

  • ROGER MOORE IS HIS MAJESTY AS JAMES NOD WITH MY RESPECT TO OTHERS

  • I think is HIS MAJESTY ROGER MOORE AT JAMES BOND .HE IS THE BEST.WITH ALL MY CONSIDERATIONS AT THE REST, CEARTINLY,

  • the best bond was the spy who loved me and moonraker

  • Sir Roger is the only Bond to date to have had a real sense a humour. Brosnan's Bond also displayed some humour (like trying to use a keyboard in Tomorrow Never Dies and then realises its a keyboard with Chinese characters and grins wryly at Michelle Yeoh), but the rest of the Bonds are like humourless zombies. Sir Roger was the best !

  • @minutemanIV I agree again mate. I loved his head nod in the car chase in the beginning of For your eyes only.

  • @TheIceman567 Yes,I remember that head nod during the car chase. I think either ITV or Channel Five showed the film a couple of weeks ago. (I've seen it many times before that.) But the beginning of FYEO wasn't the car chase,it was the helicopter scene where a man in a wheelchair was remote controlling James's chopper but James manages to take control of it.The car chase came later on, with two black Peugeots trying to push James's Citroen off the road. The French actress Carole Bouquet was yum !

  • @minutemanIV Yeah i know but i'm saying that car chase right after is Lotus blows up was great.

  • best bond theme

  • Roger Moore, best Bond by a country mile!

  • roger moore had to be the funniest bond ever

  • My favorite is For Your Eyes Only

  • Best bond = Pierce Brosnan

Best song = Live and let Die

  • this movie is awsomme and roger more is one of the best james bond ever

  • Who ever was the person choosing the Bond songs during Roger moores time was a smart cookie!

  • @funkeytoad08 I concur totally! Although view to a kill was my personal favourite

  • My God I miss him as Bond.

  • Defo sir roger moore best bond to date, connery 2nd but moore is the king!

  • Sir Roger Moore is the BEST Bond to date! The WORST is Daniel Craig!!

  • @Sarcasticscum AMEN! AMEN!! AMEN!!!

  • @Sarcasticscum Agreed! And this is the best Bond film.

  • OCTOPUSSY LOL

  • james bond=best series ever!

  • this and moonraker are the best!!!!!

  • Roger Moore's Bond had to be THE most romantic Bond of all of them even most of the themes written for his Bond movies kind of reflect this ..i think.

  • Moore is the best Bond, 2nd is Craig.

  • @Slyslus25 craig is shit worst bond ever!!!! bonds meant to be cool

  • what a fuckng idiot u are Craig is the cloest thing too ian flaming novels Bond isnt ment to be a light hearted gentleman hes a cold blooded killer but Roger moore was great but wasnt serious enough he is cool FFS w

  • @charlieiscool1000 craig.......is.....balls. hes nowhere near bond, peirce brosnan was much better. hes just not sufisticated (yeah, i cant spell) enough, crashing through walls and stuff. where is q and the gadgets?

  • r u fucking joking peirce brosnan was Shit he was way too pretty and weak to be Bond he really got on my fucking nevres at times the only good one was goldeneye Die another day was one of the wrost bond films ever the ending was just stupid daniel craig is a proper man who is believable enough to be bond along with dalton they are the most reaslitic and closest too the actual character who gives a flying fuck what he looks like anyway

  • @charlieiscool1000 dolton! and your calling brosnan a pretty boy?! lets just agree to disagree. (goldeneye rules)

  • plus the gadgets make the film even more riduolous plus the iphone 4 could almost be classed as a gadget the invalble car was stupiest thing they could have done in the bond films

  • @charlieiscool1000 the gadgets make a bond film-look at the earliest ones withsean connery.

  • I've always loved this theme because it sums up the 007 movie series at that time.

  • @lennier1 ...i know what you mean this theme and "nobody does it better" just seem to have been written for Moore's take on the Bond character.

  • This is the best James Bond-movie and Roger Moore was the best James Bond. also this theme tune is one of the best.

  • the only bond that sucks is pierce brosman

  • Ha yes your so right! LOL roger was so great

  • A great movie from the 1980's which I'll always remember, especially the theme song.

If you have never lived in the 80's, you don't know what life is all about.

Stuff the computers, cursed e-mails, annoying cellphones, fantastic flat-screens and miracle microwaves.

Life was so much so much simpler back then.

I'd like to take the world back there again.

    People were so much happier.

  • @Merlin2Stage2Speed .....true...alot people who complain about the gagdet filled Moore movies forget to realize that they were plot devices too fill the gap in a less high tech world....now that we live in a high tech world (that gets more high tech every year) Bond doesn't require all the gagdets because they are part of the everday world.

  • is was simpler in the stone age but still

  • @Merlin2Stage2Speed It's so epic to read your post and listen to the music simultaneously. I missed the 80's unfortunately, wasn't around back then but I wish I was!

  • @leather666face Cheers!

  • @Merlin2Stage2Speed Be careful what you wish for... cause without this site or your computer....you wouldn't have access to this song..you would have to catch it on the radio. As far as anything else you said, I'll agree. Technology is like a drug that's dumbing us down faster than ectasy!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @BigdogH201

Gidday there Bigdog! Granted, you're spot on with your point there.

Got to also agree with you about the dumbing-down aspect - back in the 80's there was a stronger spirit of adventure and innovation and the future always held a mystical aspect about it - a stronger hope for the greater good if you like.

And where the bad guys were easier to recognize and truth always won in the end! Today it's just a morass of opinions where truth get's fudged in a sea of grey.

  • @Merlin2Stage2Speed life is good now you cant selfish and take the world back there because for some the 80's was a horrible moment. maybe life was simpler or was it because in the 80 there wasnt the comunication network there is now. i think the 80 run its course and now its time for 2010's to shine in its greatness.

  • @Merlin2Stage2Speed We tend to forget about the bad things, and concentrate on the good as we reminisce about the past. But, I'd bet ten years from now that you'd be able to recall things from the present that you might not care too much for now and see some of the positivity it might have.

  • @Merlin2Stage2Speed The 80's were full of computers (Tandy, Commodore, Apple), it's just that half the population (women) didn't care about them until they could use them to talk.

Hell, the Atari 2600 came out in 1977, and was selling like hotcakes by 1979. I had one and so did every other boy that I knew.

At least 1 in 4 homes in my country (USA) had a microwave oven by the mid-80's.

Every decade is simpler than the next. Why stop at the 1980's? Be a real man and go back to the Stone Age.

  • @Merlin2Stage2Speed Strange how the world was always better when we were kids and teens, huh? Our parents... their parents. Music, family, food, quality of life ... the world just always "used to be a kinder, simpler place". Jeez... ant that rate the 700's must have been paradise!

  • @tychonaut

Actually, being born in 1960, I was in my twenties right through the 80's. I continue to stand by what I said - be to quite sure! Cheers!

  • @tychonaut , actually, pop culture-wise, the world had gone down the drain. I am grateful for the technologies we have now than in the 80s but you do have to admit that music and movies nowadays are just plain CRAP.

  • @PungiFungi Fair enough.. but I think you could go time travelling to anytime and people would still be saying the same thing -- "the world was better when I was a kid".

  • yes Roger moore is the best Bond.. :) Classy and quirky this my first Bond I ever saw!!! So theres like a soft place in my heart for this song :)

  • This was one of the top three songs for a Bond film.sung by Rita Coolidge.

  • no man ever has had more game than Roger Moore

  • muy elegante, fue un buen james bond

  • Sean Connery is the best Bond ever, sorry to tell you. His acting career is much more deep, too.

  • best bond theme ever

  • The idea that Roger Moore is the best Bond makes me laugh. I like him sure, but even Roger Moore himself thinks he was the worst. He was too unfit to play spy, even in the early movies.

I find it hilarious to see him run after a guy, out of breath. Roger Moore is to Bond what Adam West was to Batman.

  • just saw it at 'retrolove movies' im in love with Bond :D

  • jambogamba u are right the best he is the only bond played it soo well and does not get the praise that he deserves

  • Roger Moore is the best Bond ever indisputablly. It is not only my opinion but all the people's I have asked, rich or poor, educated or illiterate, Christians or Muslims, White, Black, Yellow or whatever,............... Unbelieveable.

  • @jambogamba:

in addition to male or female.

  • that is true roger mooore was the first choice bond but couldnt do it was he was tied up doing the saint, in my view moore is the one and only bond

  • roger moore the best bond best films best soundtracks best acting does not get the praise he deserves

  • Nope, there`s a new bond, and his name is daniel craig....one of the best bond ever.......but the first place is always Connery.

  • This one has much better audio on my computer. Thanks for posting. It is really one of the best Bond movie songs, if not the very best, to me. Thanks again.

  • this song just makes me want to jump in the air

  • You need to get out more mate!

  • Yes Roger More is the best bond ever!

  • Couldn't agree more!

I think many people's favourite Bond is from the era when they first got interested in the films - as I was a young lad in the late 60's mid 70's Roger Moore for me still is the ONLY James Bond (as well as being the ONLY Simon Templar !).

Even now, I think Connery is very over rated within the 007 role.

  • moore and connery are the same to me. they are both good!!!!

  • I agree as hell :D

  • I personally prefer both Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan to Sean Connery but Connery is the real Bond. He was Flemings choice and fits the character perfectly (except for his accent)

But ican see where you're coming from...

  • You are wrong there Darzy92.

Connery wasn't Flemings choice, Fleming didn't want him first. After seeing Dr. No he quickly changed his mind though ;)

  • @MrLoullers Fleming's choice was David Niven. But that REALLY goes back to another era....

  • Matter fact later on when it was decided that Connery would be changed with someone else Fleming stated he prefered R. Moore.

  • That is ture in so many ways.

  • @geng999 eww

  • @geng999 sean connory!!!

  • @geng999

Roger Moore underrated and Sean Connery overrated.

  • @geng999 GODDAMN FUCKING RIGHT HE WAS !

  • I really love this movie,

This film came out when I was dating my first ever girlfriend

  • so why would it matter if she isnt still your gf / wife?

  • Love this song. First saw Octopussy while visiting Udaipur, India, where some locations were filmed. There was a restaurant there that played the movie every night for western backpackers. I'd munch my naan and hum along, great memories.

  • Nice Bond song- Rita did a good job, but I would loved to hear Olivia Newton-John sing this (or any other Bond song)

  • is this rita coolidge singing this tune??? beautiful voice

  • Yes. Despite the success that this song had, Coolidge did not like because she felt is rushed and unfinished and did not sing it and any performances.

  • thanks partner.......I really like her voice and also this tune......I believe this is from 1983.....

  • Yeah that's why she's famous till today

  • best bond ever, and roger moore is the greatest bond ever!!

  • @ransu10 Yes, best bond by the best bond; but also the best bond song.

  • @ransu10 ewww

  • the intro is awesome

  • this is my favorite

  • love the cd with all of em! had em on mini disk lol. reminds me of my big brothers

  • FANTASTIC SONGS

  • probably the best movie ever. And Midge is great.

  • The Octomoms theme song and movie ... Octopussy hers must look nasty after pusing out all those babies

  • LOL

  • lovely and classy

  • i like this one because it shows how moore mature in the role

  • james bond a great 007 agent very romantic with women and challenge the perils.

  • WOW !!! i LOVE OCTOPUS PUSSY

  • Each to their own.

  • this is cool

  • i have a completely differe
