  • do you live near an airport or something dude?

  • DUDE!! no one's give a fuck about jesus, satanism, and shit, just talk about psychedelics!!!

  • no he didnt lavey hand picked boyd rice before he died. read standing in two circles or NO

  • I got my copy at barnes and nobels with the bibles, but i think that was probably just someone else putting it there.

  • the satanic scriptures is a great book i liked it very much and it answered a few questions i had, hope u like it

  • Devil's Notebook is very good, pithy; very lucid in parts, of course the language is quite dated, but only goes to show the changes in American English that have occured. Crowley's use of lanugage is almost unreadable nowadays! Secret life is very 'in the moment' - Satanism applied, as it were, to what was going on the USA at the time of the CoS' ascendency.

  • I think Peter Gimore is an alright guy, I liked his book Satanic Scriptures. Good video, 5 stars.

  • Thanks man. No worries you didn't forget any questions, i'll be taking a trip to the mall today to find the satanic bible. Btw Do you think it was worth buying a membership?? \m/

  • Zac would probably agree that you don't really need a membership to the CoS to be a satanist, I'd say only buy one if you're interested in being involved with the church or something. I don't have a membership but some people buy one just to say they have it, which is fine.

  • true..that is what i did , and why

  • I would gwt the books....but skip the membership

  • A couple of the essays from the scriptures is on the CoS website.

And yeah, Peter Gilmore seems like a cool guy. From what I've seen on the interview videos and from what I've read, he does know his stuff. Plus his ragnarok ritual looks cool.

  • I'm sure Peter Gilmore is a great man, the only thing that bothers me about him is that his presence seems kinda weak compared to other CoS members I've looked at. He seems less like a witty, sinister, satanist and more like your nice college professor or something. lol

He definately knows what he's talking about, but like you said, his charisma doesn't really live up to LaVey.

  • I like Gilmore too... very wise individual. His book is really good too, as you'd probably expect.

One minor point... I think LaVey left the COS in Blanche Barton's charge and she appointed Gilmore High Priest.

  • thanks for the info, I was never really sure in that....\m/

  • And in fact, his first choice was Boyd Rice.

  • interesting...I did not know this
