Roy (an Indian socialist) escaped to Mexico and livedd for a number years befriended a number of Mexican communists. This is part of the reason why Indo-mexican ties are stronger today. The others include ancient religious sites, a strong belief in religion, chili as a cooking ingredient, the cultural quality of superb cinema and the practice of customs.
