hello...I was one of the drill members from Waianae High School that didn't get to see campbells sequencing....I honestly believe that u guyz should have won 1st place and only now I see ur performance....
jbenz12, i am gonna have to disagree with you. slapping the rifle/stoming your foot/banging the rifle on the ground looks REALLY tacky. any judge that has any clue about what exhibition drill really is would much rather hear a sexy command voice over a smacked rifle any day.
Nice job . . . our platoon doesn't give any verbal commands whatsoever our CO smacks the rifle instead . . . u mite wanna try that to improve the score - AREA 7 CADET MUNOZ
That doesnt matter, Cadet Munoz. Look at the Flour Bluff HS Sea Devils, from Area 10. They use verbal commands for just about every formation and they won the Daytona National Championship like twice, and Navy Nationals 10 times.
What matters is precision, execution and cleanliness.
Flour Bluff does have verbal commands but they are more precise, and have better bearing. For them verbal commands do not matter, but for this team, it hurt them more.

This is 1st Place Material. But favoritism still does exist.
I love the difficulty and precision in this drill. They don't need verbal commands, they already know what to do. LoL.
