@darkunorthodox Don't know what Guldo's power level is exactly but Cui's is actually 18,000, the same as Vegeta when Vegeta landed Earth. They explained this in the manga and anime that Vegeta and Cui have the same fighting level. Zarbon and Dodoria would have to beat Guldo quickly otherwise Guldo would defeat them with his time freeze and mental abilities. Guldo is dangerous and can defeat a much stronger opponent if he's not defeated quickly.

Vegeta took Guldo's place on the ginyu force for awhile and then from the inside out he destroys frieza's empire. fighting the various members such as reacoome and burter. it would've been cool if the whol idea of destroying freiza's empire lasted more than 1 season. this way vegeta coulda been a cold blooded killer longer.

They were no Ginyu Force, but it would have been dumb for Frieza to kill Vegeta with his ambition to fight. His hate from Saiyans stems from fear of one being a Super Saiyan /the next Broly.

So, he excused kid Vegeta for wanting to train harder and Nappa for calling him cocky after returning from Schick. He could have killed them later if they became a problem like Bardock.
