I would disagree with the presenter's use of the word "toxic." The billboards aren't toxic, just not biodegradable. Might mean the same thing to some folks, but toxic is more having the effect of a poison. Nevertheless, its great to keep the billboards out of the landfill.
Just wondering if the acrylic would chip when the tarp is rolled up or if it is OK and lasts a while? I haven't yet tried painting on my tarps. Thanks!
Hello Sewn, most artists have used art store acrylics but some used latex exterior satin house paint. For works that will always be indoors, several have been painted in oils.
