Hi! Love ur elucidated instructions. Could u pls tell me the best possible yarn to use for this project? I live in india, so what material precisely did u use? Thanks.
I'm doing it for newborn as well, but it turned out like a Chihuahua coat. The bigger hook will make loose spaces, right? Can I have more foundation stitches, like have 57 chains instead of 37 chains? So I will enlarge each part equally between gaps
@gudi1982 Oh no ! a Chihuahua coat that made me giggle :)
Yes the bigger hook will make it looser, I havnt done the math on the bigger chain, but it you add the same amout of stiches to each section i cant see why it wouldnt work ...might be trial and error for that :) good luck and let me know how you go
@bobwilson123 Ye, I've been doing a lot of experiments on this project, I just started doing crochet from a scratch a few days ago with Youtube videos. I've made a pair of gloves and baby booties. I've had so many errors and redoes with this experimental baby cardigan and hopefully it will be alright at the end. I will show you my work when it's done! ;) Enjoy your day!
Hi thanks for ur posting! It inspires me very much! I have a question, I use 4mm hook as well and trying to make every stitch very loose but still it looks very tiny, I had the similar yarn with urs and started the same number of chains with Mikey's tutorial, do u know why it looks so tiny?
@kristinel4christ Hi Kristine ! Under the video it has a box to type a response to the video ... when you click on the box next to it on the right it says "attach a video " click on that and then follow the directions :) hope that helps x

@gudi1982 Hi there, mine came out newborn size, You could use a bigger hook and that would make it bigger. Did that help you ?
