I have one change that CC2 should make. It's hard to explain in writing, but I don't like when one player chakra dashes (triangle X) and the other person is blocking, both players bounce off of each other. This makes it easy for people to hold block and run away the whole match. They should make it so the dashing player stops right next to the blocking player. That way at least the blocking player would be vulnerable to a grab. Message CC2 about this if you agree.

@SpaceKuriga No, it'll be split between whatever stories they decided to animate, I'm guessing, the intros to the a certain story battle and the conclusion of that story.

And yeah, it'll be short segments so that there's plenty to go around.

@Sacul713 Shueisha's license with Namco Bandai doesn't work that way.

They have a set schedule in which they have to publish a new game. CC2 simply took that oportunity to do this, which is the kind of game that would've been made after the end of the series.

@MrSenorBrown *sigh* Substituition no longer uses chakra, there's a separate bar for that. You can't charge it at will, you need to wait for it to charge back up again.

Guard and Subsituition are now 2 separate things, they no longer use the same buttons.

Throwing chakra shuriken leaves you vulnerable for a moment after throwing them, no longer all the spam you want.

Chakra air dash.

Combo cancel, you can stop your attack mid-combo and chain it to something else (drains chakra)

Just a few.

@SpaceKuriga All they've said so far is that it'll be more focused on the battles, so that makes me question if we'll have any free roam at all. Still kinda early to know (which is surprising since it comes out February in Japan)

As far as the story, from what they've said, it's pretty fair to say that it'll most likely only go up to Naruto vs Sasuke (the one after Danzo)

(Oh, and you do know that the series isn't over, right? The manga is still on-going, so there's no end to cover yet)

Chakra shuriken (not sure if regular shuriken as well) makes you vulnerable after you throw them, so that they can't be spammed all day long lol

Combo cancel - Resets your moment mid-combo so that you can do things like chain it to another combo, a jutsu, an attempt at ultimate or if your oponent escapes your combo and you need to stop it to jump away or something.

No clashes. Nothing said about costumizing jutsus yet.

Thank God for Naruto's new awakening, the four tails & six tails were huge disappoints to me, His KCM seems to be just as balanced as his PTS One Tail. Also badass that they added some EPIC hits for his down combination. Naruto, Susano Sasuke, & Sakura are gonna be my team man!

@rickdbz If by dlc, you mean a game with large gameplay mechanics improvements, that covers the story from Zabuza to Danzo, with over 60 minutes of new animation (some of which are exclusive backstories), 70 characters and new online modes.....then yes.

This is dlc, and you're still free to wait another 2 years for what will actually be a sequel.
