  • The anime was good considering the limited time and budget they had. But the music... the music my friend is... AMAZING.

  • Got this jon of repeat

  • The fact is the anime was made with low budget so it cannot cover things in the novel, for example: the roles of Kohaku and Hisui were overlooked, also the love of Akiha for Shiki... But still a good anime in the end.

  • This is such an amazing track

  • beautiful track

  • I don't remember this song being so fucking amazing when I watched the anime, holy shit.

  • esta de lujo el ost

pero estaria mejor para la pelea de shiki y roa en el manga de tsukihime hay si seria epico

  • Anime, was, great. So sure say the anime sucked, "oh the music is good though". Yeah you all like that huh? “Die as a normal person or live as a special being.” Do something with your life, or just live it "normally", die with no one remembering you. OR.... Just get on with your lives stop posting comments saying the anime sucked. Listen to some good tones, and maybe beat the crap out of some masked bandit while listening to it. Because, yes the music is good. Other then that, opinion, to, self.

  • Before, I thought the Tsukihime anime was very good, not only for its incredible OST.

Then I did the visual novel.

...and I still think the anime is awesome.

  • Is anyone else here from xXImmortalmageXx?

  • Gotta love OSTs even though animation itself was not very pleasing to watch

  • Curry is justice! \m/

  • Ciel: Ciel to all units begin the operation and let the victor be JUSTICE!

  • @6CTCEL let the victor be CURRRY!!!!!!! :D

  • Although the meme is funny, I like Tsukihime anime and am very grateful for introducting me to Nasuverse!

  • What a great theme! Sure wish someone would make a good anime to go with it. Oh well.

  • The things you and i can see.... ARE DIFFERENT AFTER ALL!

    (Nanaya kills the corridor)

  • I'm quite of a big Type-moon fan. Did the FSN visual novel, read the Tsukihime manga (not yet the VN), loved KnK. But I'm sure I'm never joining those "there is no tsukihime anime" brats. Even if shortened in terms of history and character development, the Tsukihime anime is excellent, powerful, sad and has a unique atmosphere.

    And such an amazing OST...

  • @Metachimiq totally agree. well said

  • @Metachimiq It certainly isn't in character development because it totally slaughters the entire characterization of the Tsukihime cast. Especially Arcueid. While characters like Akiha, and especially Hisui and Kohaku aren't characterized at all which is a major loss concerning their roles in the VN. I agree that on itself the Anime isn't as atrocious as most people make it out to be but in terms of adaptation that catches even a fracture of the original, There is NO Tsukihime Anime.

  • @Wurzelknecht If you wanted the VN with moving pictures, then yes, anime was bad. In on itself it's average and most of its flawa are with budget and pacing. The characterization isn't slaughtered, it's changed a bit and mostly for Shiki, not Arcueid who didn't have much character to begin with. The maids need no characteriation, because they had almost no role in the anime anyway.

  • @bandarseribegavana Ok the maids didn't need it since it was Arcueid's route I can agree with that. But Arcueid having no character and her character in the Anime being the same as in the VN? That's just plain Bullshit. Arcueid was almost the most charismatic and likable of all the heroines in the VN and had a bright, cheerful and sometimes almost childlike personality because she had never spend time in the outside world. In the Anime she's a brooding emo-vampire.

  • @Wurzelknecht She wasn't the same, but she definitely wasn't an "emo-vampire". Her childishness was also the reason for her bright and cheerful personality (not very charismatic in my eyes) and she was still quite childish in the anime - using fake money, wanting to go on a date etc. Shiki was definitely more emo than Arcueid.

  • @bandarseribegavana yeah she did all that but she did it in such a bland and unenthusiastic way. Point is: she and Shiki were robbed of their personality in the anime. As I said, the anime is not bad but it certainly was disappointing to see the two main characters done so differently. All I have to do is compare it to FSN were all charaters were done right in the Anime.

And am I to understand you don't like bright and cheerful persons? No offence but that sounds very sad o_o

  • @Wurzelknecht I didn't feel it was bland or unenthusiastic and they certainly weren't robbed of anything. It's hard to give a character in an anime the same amount of personality it has in a book. Maybe if I read the Vn first I'd feel differently, who knows.

No, you're not to understand it that way and you're not to make assumptions from half-sentences. She's an eroge heroine, which means she has been written to appeal to the player in a specific way. Childishness in women doesn't appeal to me.

  • @bandarseribegavana Doesn't matter what was seen first. I actually started watching the anime and then got curious about the game since I had already played FNS. I'm not talking about character-development either as that is where a book has the advantage but simply about how the characters acted. And I usually do NOT try to think of characters just in terms of their sexual appeal to me (even if they have a sex scene during the story). I liked Arc because she was much fun to be around.

  • @Wurzelknecht The appeal in eroge usually isn't just sexual. The goal is to make an emotional bond between the player and the heroine and in your case with Arcueid they apparently succeeded. Sex scenes are often not even needed. Clannad does not have sex scenes, neither will the next Typemoon VN.

  • @bandarseribegavana yeah I think Clannad might've actually been damaged by ero-scenes. At least if they had done them the way like in FNS and Tsukihime, which were too over the top IMO. If they had to include sex in the story they could've gone with scenes more fitting to the mood of the game instead of those stereotyped porn scenes with clicheed lines. Just out of curiousity but since Arc didn't seem to do much for you, what was your favourite heroine in Tsukihime?

  • @Wurzelknecht Nasu is just bad at writing ero-scenes. :D

I don't have a favourite heroine, but I liked the Akiha route the best (despite the imouto angle not because of it).

  • @Wurzelknecht Agreed. The other Seasonverse games (Kanon and AIR) had ero-scenes that made no sense and were never mentioned again after they happened. At least the ero-scenes in Nasuverse games have something to do with the plot.

  • @SecretIdentityStudio "...and were never mentioned again.." great now I have to think of the phrase "A Big Lipped Alligator Ero Moment!" XD

  • @Metachimiq I said the same thing! Before I read the VN. Then I read the VN. Then I cried. I still hope Tsukihime gets another anime/ova. Something

  • This song is very shivering! I very love it.

  • Ya know this should be on Melty BLood as some character's theme

    Rushing Desperate Feeling

    Hey it kinda fits Riesbyfe

  • @OmegaChosen0

    I nominate Ciel.

  • I havent heard such an awesome theme in since the original gyver seiries I loved it since I first heared it dood

  • THis song is really good and i dont even know the anime.

  • This kind of a noob question since I haven't been able to play the visual novel (yet) but is the anime OST rearranged from music from the game, or was it composed with the anime in mind?

  • @Zkoopa The music in the anime is original. In my channel you can find the Visual novel music of Tsukihime. :)

  • @KyonxNagato

Thanks, I'll give it a listen sometime!

  • Comment removed

  • Masterpiece!

  • This music is wonderful, from the first moment I heard on the show I loved it. Very good

  • 7th Heaven Ciel!! I love you!! Even if Arcueid is first in my heart <3

  • If you liked the anime you should really try the 1st game, which has a much better storytelling and Shiki's personallity is dtotally differnet.

  • Thats a bad ass song!

  • Sounds like this would be on DDR, lol

  • Uno De Mis Soundtracks Favoritos De Tsukihime

  • Wolverine got an upgrade

  • @TheTrueRoker And a pair of tits, also joined the church apparently.

  • not abd pump me up music, could even use it for studying

  • How about everyone help themselves to a nice cup of shut the fuck up and enjoy the music.

  • Despierta el instinto asesino...

  • Really this is great is like a song of battle or justice, love it :p

  • Can everybody who doesn't get the "There is no Tsukihime anime" joke please just stop calling those of us who say it idiots? Everybody knows there's a Tsukihime anime. It's just a very bad adaptation of the original source, so fans disown it.

  • @SecretIdentityStudio then dont be a retard and claim there is no and go so far as to argue over it.

if they had made the anime 24 episodes and explained more. like have arcs like fate stay night had it would have been better. and better fight scenes.

    some people are just idiot!.

get the fuck over it that it sucks

  • I love this song. :D

  • Wow these violins are crying! A Masterpiece, who composed that?

  • @Weihalter toshiyuki o'mori

  • sisisiiiii me gusta XD

    da gana de matar

    jajaja XD

  • Makes my blood roar all over...

  • Fuck yeah, vampires that don't sparkle!

  • @CaptainSeato Vampires that are more blood thirsty... Which they should be...

  • @CaptainSeato instead, they spew magic animals from their gut, are psychotic, reincarnating stalkers, and make your nightmares into reality

  • Ciel Sempai!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wonder what anime this soundtrack is going to be used for. It sounds like it'd be good for a Tsukihime anime.

Shame there isn't one made yet.

  • Hahaha.

I'm not familiar with the franchise, but this anime sure was boring and unfulfilling...

However, the soundtrack is top-notch. It's too much compared to the rest of the aspects in the show.

  • @SuperSaiyanLink093 well go read the novel.. best i can give you

  • @SuperSaiyanLink093 Like the other guy said, get the visual novel. The anime was a weak show compared to it. The developers managed to create a really tense atmosphere in the novel with visual and audio cues.

  • @EmperorLjas

Yeah, I know the Tsukihime novel must be 1000000x times better. So many people saying the same can't be wrong. And I actually plan to play it this summer. I'll be playing Fate's first though, which I'm just starting at the moment =)

  • may not be a great adaptation, but still i´m grateful for this scene

    watch?v=2JbT_EkB7do

    Akiha playing violin!

  • this track made the anime worth watching till the end

  • yep i got lost in the plot in the anime, and i stopped watching it then i got the game and finished it, then restared it. and i was oh yea lol. they tried puthing every1 routes togheter, but failed and didnt include the maids( i like the maids)

  • I could listen this song all day

  • Excellent song

    very exciting

  • i love this music on this anime series of tsukihime the best soundtrack ever

  • The best song from an anime...that does not exist. On the other hand, the visual novel Tsukihime is awesome^^

  • it doesnt exist yet has an awsome ost lol

  • There was no Anime, but the OST was fine, a pity it was only that.

Maybe, with a bit of luck, after the remake of the game it will be made an adaptation to Anime (at least with the quality of the manga)

  • @escopeteroce

Yea, if this nonexistant anime at least had the same drawing style, maybe people will recognize it...but they can't, since it doesn't exist.....I'm confused now

  • @escopeteroce i pray for that

  • There IS a Tsukihime anime.

Even if it's low-budget, its OST is excellent.

  • @Llaelei

    You're incorrect.

There is an OST FOR a Tsukihime anime. The anime was never made.

  • @TheForbiddenKip You can quit your useless emo rage. There is a Tsukihime anime, and your crying won't change that fact.

It was rather disappointing, but not even near as horrible as the fangirl whining I hear anywhere the anime is mentioned.

Seriously, if you didn't like it and can't handle it like normal people, just shut up and enjoy the music.

  • @TheForbiddenKip

You're pretty much a fail...I've just watched all the Lunar legend Tsukihime anime's 12 in total....so the anime IS made.

  • @TheForbiddenKip You are truelly an idiot, sir, if you just took looked on google for a few seconds you would find that, yes, there is a anime. Next time, before making senseless proclamations at least spend a few seconds researching what your saying before making yourself look like a total idiot.

  • @Llaelei

I agree! When I started watching, I finished it because of the soundtrack, not because the anime itself won me over. The story was okay, animation was so-so and the characters not exceptionally memorable. It wasn't exactly bad either though. :D

  • @Stonezorz It's quite mediocre if you haven't read the visual novel. However, for those who read the visual novel first, it was a huge disappointment.

  • @EmperorLjas

Meh, for me it was disappointing from the moment I knew the anime wasn't going be as epic as it's soundtrack. Vampires in anime throw me off as well, really had to bite hard to get through that apple.

It was okay, but that's about it. D:

  • @Stonezorz READ THE GODDAMN VISUAL NOVEL >_< ITS EFFIN EPIC!!!!

  • @terryelfster

Nah thanks, I'm sticking with the animes that are mindfuckingly epic :)

  • @Stonezorz theres nothing as epic as a visual novel ^^... nowhere NEAR mindfucking as this one atleast.. why do you think the ones whove read it claim theres no anime? I wont say the anime was bad... but in comparison with the VN, it was utterly poor...

  • @Stonezorz second, animes restricted because of audience its targetted at, which is lesser in manga and VNs, so expect more epicness.. and finally, the best part about visual novels.. when the character comes across a choice he cant make, YOU decide!. You influence the story, many ways to end it, main characters change too. youve 9 endings to Tsukihime, actually many more, but most end with you dying HORRIBLY, and character plots. Ciel for instance had a sadder past than even Lucy of Elfen Lied!

  • @terryelfster

I either read books, watch animes or play video games. I'm no fan of comics or these 'visual novels' as you call them. The only one I got into was The Watchmen. To each their own I suppose, I either want a consistent storyline that grabs me and doesn't let go in an anime, or the freedom and immersiveness of videogames when it comes to choices. In some cases you can even get both. :) No visual novels for me but nice try though!

  • @Stonezorz The Tsukihime visual novel has both of those, and is so superior to the anime that it's no wonder most people don't acknowledge the anime. If you're not willing to read the novel for whatever stupid reason, at least read the manga. It's a far, far, far better adaption then the anime, though it still comes up short of the original.

  • @Iamtheme777

I like how you shrug my argument off as "stupid". Goodbye sir.

  • @Stonezorz also, I maybe wrong about this but you have misused the term "mindfuckingly epic" what you mean to say is amusing, maybe epic, but to add the "mindfuckingly" the said anime or whatnot have to mindfuck the viewer. This means the viewer must obtain full understanding of the situation in order to achieve "mental break", something not many anime have achieved. What is the situation? The whole story leads up to it, and it alone defines "mindfuckingly epic". (^-^)b

  • @blazearmoru

I have the feeling you think I'm one of those dime a dozen Bleach/Naruto fans, I'll have you know that I DO know what the term "mindfuck" means and I'll also have you know that I'm only fan of a very small amount of animes because of the lack of decently developed plotlines in anime. The ones that screw you over in your head are the ones I like the most, for example I quite enjoyed "Gantz" recently except for the ending in wich they explained nothing about what happened. :(

  • @Stonezorz 2 months later and you are still a moron. The gantz anime was garbage, just like the tsukihime anime adaptation.

  • @Armlace

Excuse me but who the F are you to come here, butt in on a conversation that is already over, assume your opinion about animes is the only correct one and then and simply tell me I´m a moron?

    Stupid troll. :)

  • @Stonezorz A moron is a moron and will continue to be a moron 2 months from now too. Problem brospeh?

  • @Armlace

Yeah, can you back that up with actual arguments mister elitist troll?

I sense a severe lack of self-confidence in you. :)

  • @Stonezorz You seriously dont know how to handdle trolls. You shouldnt really be even replying to someone flaming you about some random crap said over 2 months ago. You rage you lose, dont feed the trolls, etcetc.

Anyways, if you liked the gantz anime then you should seriously check out the manga, its still on going. The ending was pure anime made up bs.

  • @Armlace

There never was any rage involved, I'm just interested in the average web-troll's mindset. What makes them do the things they do?

Also, cheers for the tip. I don't see why you'd flame first, then be nice later. Couldn't you just be nice in the first place? :D I'm sure alot of people would appreciate that alot more.

  • @Stonezorz A visual novel is simply a book version. Imagine it like the harry potter series, or LotR. The movies are good in their own right, but in contrast to the original, which are the books, is absolutely nothing.

  • Si esta cancion es perfecta para matar a algieen >=D

  • De todo el anime de tsukihime esta cancion es mi favorita y a mi tambien me dan ganas de pelear contra alguien cuando la escuho.

  • Tsukihime anime does not exist.

  • Yes it does O.O I watched it...

  • It does exist and it was a pretty good one (esp among those 11 episodes short anime ones). The soundtrack is awesome.

  • Ha ha ha, oh you... All right, I think it's time for someone to take his/her medicine.

  • @eulerw

It doesn't. It just has tsukihime on its title with similarly named characters.

  • @deathbringer0728 The anime that bears the name "Shingetsutan Tsukihime" is official. It follows Arcueid's storyline, though the major plot stuff from the other lines has been (badly) squeezed in the 12 episodes, too.

  • Just wonderful, like the Anime.

  • Sin duda alguna Tsukihime es mi serie favorita pero esta es de todas mi cancion, realmente quisiera pelar con alguien cuando la escucho

  • this music makes me wanna just grab a sword and fight it out w/ the world! dopeness

  • I think that this is the besto music of the anime cause the others are all depressive...

  • Without a doubt my favorite song on the whole OST.

  • Me too!!! =D

  • Am I missing something? I go to those sites, but I can't download the song. It's just this video...

  • sooooooooo nice =)

  • This music is so epic... omgosh.. i luv it. hahaha

  • This music is completely perfect!! XD

  • I just wish the anime itself didn't suck so horribly. Really though... if you read the visual novel you'd know. The anime practically mocks Tsukihime. Heh, in fact, most fans pretend the anime (Shingetsutan Tsukihime) didn't exist because of how much of an embarrassment it was. Same thing with Fate/Stay Night. Both of the animes were handled very crappily.

  • well... the anime is pretty much the same as the arcueid path... just some scenes were messed up, they forgot to explain some stuff etc... sure, the VN is a lot better... but the anime had better music :O

  • Defintely agree on the music part. But it wasn't some of the stuff... it was nearly all of the stuff. :V Even the character personalities were messed up. :(

  • no need to downrate me, i know the anime sucks compared to the VN- but it's always like that, there's never been an anime which was better/ as good as the original. and they always mess up stuff, to make it seem more interesting.

  • the bad part about the VN's is, getting them legal often gets quite expensive, and is usually complicated. and the other ways... finding an well seeded torrent about something that roughly 1 million people know about... and you usually can't get it through DD... and then you have to find a translation patch... or learn japanese...

  • The translation patch is available on the mirrormoon website ^_^

Getting the Tsukihime iso is still pretty hard though.

  • i have it ;P

  • thanks for uploading

  • lol this is a famous classical symphony, and the name eludes me, i was wondering if someone remembers the original version with is 8 minutes long.

  • 236c bara bait is the first thing I think of.

  • Nero IS THE BEST FOR GOD SAKE!!!!!

  • Ceil is my favorite character is this anime.

  • her name is Ciel... and i like her more then arcueid aswell... i still have to play through akiha's, hisui's and kohaku's route, but ciel was definately more fun then arcueid ^^

  • Oh sorry , it's my mistake. I have seen so many pretty female characters, but those handsome female characters like Ciel are very rare.(Ciel is pretty too.) And I'm also interested in what Ciel went through, it has a lot to say.

  • well, whatever, it's no biggie... anyways, ciel is much better in the vn ^^ (i still need to get to kohaku's true ending, and then i need all the good ending... but hell, kohaku is creepy ==__==)

  • Hmm... I didn't downrate you... whatever I up rated you. :D

  • do you know where i can get the game ?

  • sent you a pm with link.

  • Sounds like somethin from Metal gear solid

  • where can i download this song

  • try tenshi . ru

  • galbadiahotel. they have tons of osts, even game osts :D

  • Narutofan9999, you have no idea how grateful I am! I spent one whole day in search of this soundtrack, and thanks to you I finally found a quick way to download it!

  • I feel knightly nobled and powerful!

    yeah Masterpiece!

  • この曲聴くと必ず最終回を思い出してしまうのは、私だけだろうか?

  • i just want to fight somthing whit onor when i hear this

  • this song SCREAMS apocalypitc death

  • magnificent

  • Wow, I just love this song. It's really masterpiece.

  • thanks for this OST, what a great piece

  • its odd how ceil has a thing for shiki yet she at the same time is curious of his powers...

  • I remember this scene and I love this song

  • This song is so uber

  • Yeah, I play some of my war games to this.
