I was there also! Went specifically for Metallica, but all the bands there tore it up! It was so f'n hot that day, Bill Graham went on stage with a big fire hose & sprayed the crowd...they really don't make concerts like they used to.

I was at this show and I remember it like it was yesterday! I was mostly there for Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force, Scorpions, Ratt, and Y&T, but Metallica kicked butt too!

I was there also and my dumb ass thought they sucked....station at Ft. Ord we went to see Ratt & the Scorpions ..but....Y&T busted that shit out as i remember. It was the 1st of 6 live shows.
