In the cosmic pantheon, Galactus far outranks the Celestials but it is his constant hunger that enables the Celestials to best the World Devourer in combat. However, should Galactus begin to consume stars instead of planets, then we'll see the Third Force of the Universe truly live up to his name.

Another thing wrong with the movie is that Galactus cannot be harmed with his own power cosmic, which he gave a portion of to Silver surfer, who attacked Galactus and won. Ridiculous!

@SybilianShade To be fair...that movie really sucked, and the movie version and the true comic version do not have to be the same thing...why am I defending that movie? It sucked. It made me puke and Alba's portrayal of the Invisible Woman pushed back womens' rights for at least a few decades. But the Silver Surfer did look pretty good.

I stopped collecting comics back in the late 70's and have never revisited them. The F4 were my favorite and Galactus was my favorite antagonist. Thanks. I had no idea he was still around.

How long ago did you stop collecting. If nothing else find the Trade Paper Back collection of "Annihilation" Galactus plays a large part of that story. Which was like two years ago or so. More recently he appeared in Nova (Richard Rider) and the Beta Ray Bill mini-series. Oh an Galactus has a daughter now (Galacta).

I can tell you I have now about 14 marvel archetypes to symbolise diffrent parts of the Self.

During my meditation I had the feeling that I had to look for a archetype to symbolise my inner univers.

And I came up with the symbool of GALCTUS.

I was also looking for other Marvel charakters , but I came up with GALACTUS.

I think that`s pretty cool, that you can take marver superheroes to symbolise a part of the self.

It is what Carl Jung was talking about finding your archetype (It is a personal proses).

Now thats hard to say because the main characters used certain stratagies to beat him like the marvel zombies and/or I think ghost rider if he uses the penace stare like on a certain show. I think there are others but it's hard to find some in marvel as a garunantee without some creative thought and reseach when it comes to the consumer of planets.

@moonabys those two figures are called Aegis and Tenebrous, two of the primordial gods that makes this universe. The other primordial gods are either killed by Big G himself or imprison at the Kiln. I have the complete set of the Annihilation Wave in which Annihilus frees them both in order to attack Big G and other cosmic powered beings. Hope this helps!

I like the photos you used that show him with all his futuristic looking equipments. Stan Lee was very good at doing this and utilized the full page to show just how massive his equipment where. Making a custom showing out of this world traveling devices was challenging. for me in a custom.
