All 3 seasons show that Ellen's role is written for slightly hysterical, self-absorbed "diva". Martha got that bit down pat. But if you are truly going to pull this role off you need to have audience understand other characters' fascination with you. You need to be very charming, sweetly kooky and incandescently gorgeous (or at minimum: attractive). Clearly not Martha Burns! The only Ellen relationships, which work here are Maria's hatred of the diva and Henry's manipulation of her insecurities.

Paul/Geoffrey is mouthing out the words to Romeo and Juliet - the look in his eye. He really loves this play. So cute. I also love the two actors playing R&J. Geoffrey is such a romantic. Unfortunately, Ellen appears and so the magic ends. :-(

I hope somebody posts season 3 if only because I remember not liking season 2 very much until I started watching it here.  And then, like duesouthgirl, the more I watched it the deeper and richer I discovered it really is. So by all means, somebody, feed the addiction! :-)

I'm not particularly thrilled with season 3 thus far - I still love the actors, but too many of the plots seem contrived, or maybe they just don't have the luxury of time to be developed as well as they could be. But I wasn't all that pro on season 2 either until I started watching it again here, and like duesouthgirl I find it richer and deeper the more I see it. So, by all means, somebody post S&A3!

There is! It aired in Canada in July and August of last year, and will be airing in the US on the Sundance Channel this month. I don't know about the UK though, I'm sorry. It will probably be on DVD by this summer, though. And maybe lazsilv will help us out!
