@fahadshippuden I believe she said it because, in some languages, the word for ''native language'' is ''mother tongue''. In my language, Serbian, it is like that. We say ''maternji jezik''. Majka is mother, and jezik is tongue or language. I assume it's similar in Arabic, but I'll know more once I learn it. :) And I agree it was funny.
A quick search on google shows that the oldest Hebrew writing dates back 3000 years. On the other hand Assyrian is believed to date back to 925 BCE, AND THIS IS NOT A WRITTEN SOURCE, BUT JUST A THEORY.
This means that the Hebrew language is atleast 100 years older than the Assyrian language.
"Stolen" means to take something from someone who already owns it.
This means that the Assyrians did in fact STEAL their language from Hebrew.
Wow it's so beautiful to see the title "Learn Hebrew with Maha" followed by your username "LearnArabicwithMaha". I wonder if any jewish israeli teach arab on the internet.. would be cool to team up! Hope gives live.
Maha you are really working for peace. Because you help people to understand each other and by the Arabic vs. Hebrew lessons you show the similarities of human being in a real objective way. Thank you.
Maha! The triconsonontal root system of the Semitic languages makes it easy (well easier..) to learn them all.
You are so smart (not to mention beautiful!) set yourself a challenge and learn Amharic! The Ethiopians are a beautiful people but you are so darned gorgeous you could be the new Queen of Sheba!
Listen up gents, this is a fact...the hottest women on planet earth are middle eastern...from morocco to India, nothing but hotties. too bad that disease called Islam makes them cover up their natural beauty.
@philruppe Actually, what you call it disease is the religion that has given the whole humanity ANDALUCIA CIVILIZATION and many other civilisations around the world, and yes! Our women are supposed to be covered because they are not meant to be looked by everyone. Their beauties must be shown to their husbands. I think it is logic! More than this, beauty is in the deeds of people not in their bodies or how they look like!

Non posso scrivere le parole arabe, e molto difficile. Ho provato di combinare le lettere insieme per formare una parola. Ma non posso scrivere con la mia mano! Posso scrivere a machina, ma non posso scriverli a machina! I need help!

Arabic and Hebrew are not from the Aramaic group. Arabic and Hebrew and Aramaic are from the original Semitic language. After migrations to north of Arabia, Arabic developed in the south and middle and Aramaic developed in the north, the differences were barely dialect differences however with time they became separate languages. Hebrew developed from Aramaic as a dialect first then as a language. and all these languages were affected by each other.
@sergioalv62 they're both from the same family of languages called the Semitic group =) most ppl dont realize...arabs are semites too, like Assyrians also
Can you make a video about speaking Tigrinya or Amharic???? I'm Ethiopian and I've heard Arabic and Tigrinya. They sound too alike and the words and dialects are TOO similar. For example, 4 in arabic mean Arrba'a and 4 means arrba'ate in tigrinya. It wouldn't be too hard to learn.

Just wanted to point out that you said they both come from Aramaic, however, Hebrew was around before Aramaic, but it adopted the Aramaic "block" script (which is what is used today) in about 500 BCE I think. The Samaritans, a religious group that broke off from Judaism a long time ago, still uses the original Paleo-Hebrew script from before 500 BCE.

@LearnArabicwithMaha hey...where are you at the moment...you are fantastic with these languages. but i have great difficulties :( can you conduct personal lessions onpayment?
Ugh, why must these languages always be politicized such? Arabic is a beautiful language, and so is Hebrew, and that's all that should count!
Moreover, I know many Palestinians, and many of them know at least a little Hebrew because it makes things easier for them. I agree with Maha that these languages should be taught in English, because English is an international language that many people around the world already know, and so it just simplifies things if they're taught in English.
thank you mahaa

@rami9090 I don't get it, why would you as a Palestian want to learn Hebrew?
Those Israeli Terrorists killed so many Palestians.

GRAZIE!!
Un abbraccio da Roma
