You tell them Shauna!! The size of the person matters little. :) Most horses can carry up to 300 pounds easily. So if you don't know what you are talking about you shouldn't make comments.

That guy on the back of the horse....is my grandfather, William Riley. Yes the music ruined it...The horse's name is Rock. My grandfather has a horse ranch in Cleveland, TX. He sells Rock's foals to people all over the world. What you don't know is that "fat guy on his back" has had 4 quadruple by-passes, has severe diabetes, and a stroke that left him with no feeling in his left side....and he still works with horses everyday...

Yes, these horses can gallop. No, they are not weak - they have to be strong to move like this, especially at this speed. There is no reason to ride the horse at a gallop when they can go nearly as fast at this gait, and actually ride this gait comfortably. It's very smooth.

@12512cool he does it naturally. u cant sore a horse to make him go faster only to make them have a poppy frontend (their front feet) they only sore padded up tennesse walkers to make them more flashy. not all padded walker are sored. soring a horse is horrible but not everyone does it. just some people will do anything to win, but if caught they will face jail time

We have proverb in Kyrgyz: If you live one day, ride racking horse until noon! Kyrgyz racking horses also great but our competitions for 30-40 km with dozens of racking horses are absolutely different from those you are watching.
Get rid of that funky assed music! Dub it over with some Skynard, 38 Special or a fast bluegrass number. The horse is awesome, no doubt. But you'd showcase him better with another soundtrack.
I've never seen a racking horse in action before, but this is easily the weirdest thing I've ever seen a horse do XD But in many ways it is unbelieveably awesome :D
Hey - this is my first look at riding a speed singlefooter -- AWESOME - I drive Morgans at Marathon by the way -- seems like you'd be pretty tight competition if you can jump around in obstacles as well.

Have you ever tried to sit in less of a 'chair seat' and move closer to the front of your horses back so she can move easier? It looks like she could have a easier chance at carrying you at these higher speeds...just a thought. Our horses sure do take care of us don't they.

the orginal tennessee walking horse was call tennessee pacers where is singlefooting from standardbreds for the speed do your horse research duh the orginal singlefooter was said in history was the breeding of a paso fino and a standardbred in the 1400's
ppl say you fast forward it but there are 2 horses like that at the farm their movement is so different because of their BREED! those kind of horses are often used on a different type of race track. ppl call the pacers. I don't know the real name.

Obviously you know nothing about single-footer racking horses. The only think I can suggest is go watch one in person and then see if you think they fast forwarded it.

for DevilNightShade...you are partially correct...nothing can beat a quarter horse in a sprint...quarter mile run hence their name Quarter Horse....but they typically can't go long distance and maintain the speed...
a friend of mine had that same problem with a horse that she had gotten. the mare would not gait. her trianer said that the mare had TOO MUCH of the wrong muscle on her or something like that and that you had to let her loose the muscle. i hope that you get it all worked out

Get rid of that funky assed music! Dub it over with some Skynard, 38 Special or a fast bluegrass number. The horse is awesome, no doubt. But you'd showcase him better with another soundtrack.

I've never seen a racking horse in action before, but this is easily the weirdest thing I've ever seen a horse do XD But in many ways it is unbelieveably awesome :D

Have you ever tried to sit in less of a 'chair seat' and move closer to the front of your horses back so she can move easier? It looks like she could have a easier chance at carrying you at these higher speeds...just a thought. Our horses sure do take care of us don't they.

This is not a pacing horse and they are not used for racing. These are singlefooter racking horses that are from Tennessee Walking Horse bloodline

ppl say you fast forward it but there are 2 horses like that at the farm their movement is so different because of their BREED! those kind of horses are often used on a different type of race track. ppl call the pacers. I don't know the real name.

Nice horse i ride too, my mom breeds quarter horses and in fact your horse isnt going that fast you just fast forwarded it to make it look like it is going that fast and if it is really going that fast then you arent really single footing. So nice try but you didnt fool me.

that standerbred horse are for race an can do that for miles.that why at the show they say speed racking or paceing any racking hors that go that fase will go to paceing.some can do 45 mph most the time a good one 25mph start

for DevilNightShade...you are partially correct...nothing can beat a quarter horse in a sprint...quarter mile run hence their name Quarter Horse....but they typically can't go long distance and maintain the speed...

a friend of mine had that same problem with a horse that she had gotten. the mare would not gait. her trianer said that the mare had TOO MUCH of the wrong muscle on her or something like that and that you had to let her loose the muscle. i hope that you get it all worked out
