@xxxrandomxxxfandomxx actually they don't, i thought they did for a while too, but the reason they clip them is actually better than leaving them because boxers have an extreme need and power in their tails to whip them everywhere, my cousin had one and they didn't clip the tail and she constantly had sores and cuts on it from whipping it into the wall and furniture so often, it does way more damage in the long run to keep the tail on a boxer.

@metamorphosis67 there is a reason they clip tails on boxers, they have extremely powerful muscles back there, more so than other breeds, boxers will whip their tails everywhere, into furniture, walls, hard objects, (and legs, OUCH) i have seen dogs with cuts and sores because of it, they don't know any better that they are hurting themselves. I don't agree with other breeds being clipped for cosmetic appearance, but at least w/ boxers there is a legitimate reason for doing it
