This will sound incredibly dumb and no one cares but I'm making a SF flash that involves, for reasons I don't want to explain right now, a fight between Dudley and Akuma.

Now I've never played 3rd strike, this was a friend's request, but I want to know gameplay-wise what sort of advantages and hardships Dudley has in facing a character who can camp with fireballs and things like that.

I suggest looking up some Dudley vs Akuma/Ryu/Ken matches then. The most obvious disadvantage he has, though, would be the lack of any real ranged attack.

I dunno, it would be a hell of a fight. It's true, Balrog doesn't have the style or class of Dudley but he's an extremely hard hitter and is perfectly ruthless. I could see the fight going evenly until Balrog pulled a dirty trick to win.

almost everything dudley does is somewhat of a legit boxing move. dudley has a dodge, a duck, a cross counter (that's actually what the boxing move is called) and a machine gun blow, all totally legit. the only thing dudley does that would get him DQ'd from a boxing match is his sweeps, jumping attacks and some of his lower attacks.

balrog isn't a boxer, he's a brawler. he uses rabit punchs and headbutts, and wins by charging in with punches. not legit.
