yes, I have better things to do with my money than buying overpriced OS for overpriced system when linux is free and runs well on any hardware. I'm not saying that mac and its products are bad but just not worth the money.

to GhoulZP: Linux doesnt run well on any hardware at all, like ATI cards, poor support on webcams, very poor support on sound cards, wireless is still buggy (in some distros under development still). I have spent a loooot of my time in linux forums trying to resolve problems, but since I moved to macs i've never bothered to do that, cause everything works perfectly. Linux is ideal for servers, not for an everyday user.

Its not the OS itself, its an upgrade for the OS, and if you have old version you will have to pay ~130$, I wouldn't call that "free". Oh, and you forgot to mention ridiculous software prices.
