  • And Craig didnt go with him to see it ??

Jaque Cousteaus son invites you to an expedition and you dont go ? :/

  • 4:49- "There are more sharks in Hollywood than there are in the ocean."

    Hmmm....

  • Craig!! Take Jean-Michel up on his offer!! Tell ALL OF US, the WORLD what you see! It will be horribly hard and upsetting, but it would be a service and a gift!!

    I hope you'll do it!!

  • Craig needs Aquaman!

  • @Unitronus BP needs Aquaman!

  • "oh, Depends will be part of it, don't worry" LMAO. awesome interview, great guest.

  • 2:99 REEF SHARK NIBBLE

  • I got a little teary at the conclusion. Jacques Cousteau is one of my Heros and Jean-Michel is just as wonderful. I never knew Jacques wife was the captain of his boat. She should have been on the cover of the book, shame on National Geographic !

  • awesome

  • @goodgigs> WHERE-AS you seem a little disillusioned with Craig, and while this great ol country gives you every right to do so,I'd say you were Sadly mistaken. Without getting into it, less brringing on unnecessary arguments, Craig simply brings awareness to specifics. Don't forget- Craig's not American by birth. (those you named all are) Of course Craig's not Johnny Carson- Carson's dead.. Give him time- Bet Craig will surprise the shit out of ALL of us!

  • the guy speaks the truth. hope Craig goes diving with him soon.

  • Looks like I have another reason to go to Scotland

Seriously though, the oil topic is just so sad it's difficult for me to discuss as well. I would love to see Craig take the offer to go there and report but I can see how hard that would be for Craig.

  • Very smart man,great guest!

  • oh boy >_< This oil disaster thing myst end soon!!

  • @MissBananaHappy Speaking as someone who lives near the gulf, it sadly looks like its just getting started, theres a storm thretaning to move all that oil more mainland, and ruin the beaches even more.

  • HAHA! 'depends' will be part of it! LOL

  • One of the most impressive guests ever!

  • @SilverLeaper and also one of the most impressive interviews.

It seriously gave me a slightly shivery feeling when they started talking about the oil leak. And that moment Craig said how he didn't know how to talk about it, made me finally come to a point and realize how perverted and absurd the leaking is. It's just so wrong. Unfortunatelly I haven't done research on whether there is evidence of naturally occuring oil leakage, but considering how oil is created, such a leakage shouldn't occur.

  • You know, if people went out into the ocean to observe orcas like they do in captivity, the wild orca population would be decimated and disrupted by inexperienced tour boats, or people just going on their own. I don't think that's really an appropriate solution. The wild orcas are already in danger from our pollution, we don't need to bring it to their doorstep. Just saying.

  • @bubblywums True, but it works for safari tours too - as long as there is some organisation brought in.

  • @Juliexo06 It works with safari tours because you can still see all of those animals in captivity, such as zoos.

  • @bubblywums It's not like everyone who's going to a zoo could afford going to f.e. Kenya on a safari tour...

  • @Juliexo06

Well my friend: there is always tv.. and in 3d now...

  • @graw777 "well my friend"? Alright, my friend.

and that whole watching-movies-in-3d crap... scares the shit out of me, always has.

  • @bubblywums They already have it available...it's called whale-watching. People are enamoured with Orca's now is that they do tricks in marine parks. It's not like every person that goes the see a Marine show would instead go on a whale-watching trip.

What is the alternative? You think that we should keep a hundreds Orca's in intolerable captivity to save people wanting to go on whale watching trips?

There is nothing wrong with sea travel or scuba-diving when done sensitively

    What a comment!

  • @goodgigs Making us laugh - what are you doing on this board if you want political offerings? Somehow I think you have a different agenda - maybe looking for people to respond to your idiot comments.

  • @goodgigs Lay off, buddy. Compared to ALL the other late-night comedians, Craig takes the most risks with his career: he makes fun of potential advertisers, he cusses, he uses puppets. He even mocks CBS, for goodness' sakes. Craig may not be overtly political, but he consistently promotes tolerance and dialog by being the most inclusive talk-how host, with guests of different colors, sizes, ages, nationalities, etc. All of whom he treats with respect. Watch & learn.

  • this is a great interview. I honestly didn't expect it... :D

  • @PsychoWedge Cousteau & Craig are always a great combo - funny and intelligent.

  • "Karebean reef sharks are on standby, waiting for you." Hehe. :D

  • lol I love Jean-Michel's dry humor. I'd have broken face by the second joke!

  • This was surprisingly hilarious! Go Jean-Michel!

  • Craig Ferguson has the best guests on his show.

  • thumbs up thumbs up!

  • no one like scottish food....even sharks!

  • "international commission which is not influenced by politics or by money"

is he dreaming? this is the real world where greedy capitalist bastards rule!

although, i too wish he was right! :)

  • @iamnotstronger A quite literal pipe dream...

  • this guy has great timing... i'm glad i clicked on the link.

of course craig is always awesome!
