The Fox poll was ridiculous. It had McCain in favor for winning the debate 86%, when no conservative pundits seemed to think he won, rather they have critisized his performance. All the other networks polls were much more similiar, having Obama winning by 5-10 points.
The reason the unnamed "liberal host" complained about the Fascist News poll is because to anyone with any grasp of the issues, Senator Obama won the debate. As FreePlay pointed out: if there's only ONE media outlet that comes to the conclusion that McCain won, compared to armies of other outlets, is it really reasonable to suggest that there is only one without bias? Or would it be more rational to say that Fascist News is the sole possessor of bias? Or do you not understand that concept?
Anyone else think that this sudden boost in Obama votes seem suspicious? Obama is leading McCain 51% to 42% or something like that and still the undecided vote is at 8%. Yes, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, WSJ, etc all ran REAL polls - scientific ones.
Fox ran a TEXT MESSAGE poll - vote as many times as you want, self-selected sample - not legitimate.
Same goes for Drudge, who ran a web poll - same problems as above.
Fox used funny polls all through the election. Zogby was polling 50% Evangelicals, Rassmussen will give you whatever numbers you want.

A lot of people were laughing because his rants had no relevance with the economy and it was obvious he was trying to appeal to his deranged base. Every election there are cases of registration fraud, not voter fraud. Yes Mickey Mouse can register to vote, but is he going to show up with his California ID on election day? I think not. And yes Ayres did some ad things 40 years ago, but he has changed and become a world class professor and was citizen of the year 97' for his work on the board.

I'm not sure you understand how these news agencies and pollsters do their polls. They don't just call their viewers. They *try* and get a fair view of the population, which is WHY it stands out so much when one poll (in this case Fox) is so starkly different than the rest.
In regards to Nazi Germany not attacking us: their ally, Japan, attacked us. Germany was also attacking merchant ships with their U-boats.

The poll numbers posted by all stations merely represent the demographic who watches their channel, and I certainly wouldn't consider any of the news stations' polls to be an accurate representation of America as a whole.

The Fox poll was ridiculous. It had McCain in favor for winning the debate 86%, when no conservative pundits seemed to think he won, rather they have critisized his performance. All the other networks polls were much more similiar, having Obama winning by 5-10 points.

The reason the unnamed "liberal host" complained about the Fascist News poll is because to anyone with any grasp of the issues, Senator Obama won the debate. As FreePlay pointed out: if there's only ONE media outlet that comes to the conclusion that McCain won, compared to armies of other outlets, is it really reasonable to suggest that there is only one without bias? Or would it be more rational to say that Fascist News is the sole possessor of bias? Or do you not understand that concept?

Anyone else think that this sudden boost in Obama votes seem suspicious? Obama is leading McCain 51% to 42% or something like that and still the undecided vote is at 8%. This happens with every single election, the Democrat always gets all these fake votes in the battleground states. It's completely stupid and ruins our right to vote.

lol! The Popeye picture is so funny! I agree, McCain was great...after they got past the economy, which was a snore on both sides. Obama sounded so uninformed, and McCain sounded like he had a plan, which he did, and he understood politics on an international scale. And he had been places: it was impressive just hearing him talk about going there, seeing things with his own. lol..actually talking to our Generals. :) Unlike a certain someone.

Saddam Hussein was a Sunni Muslim, but he was only religious for political purposes. He helped fund Al Qaeda because he knew that they would most likley commmit acts of terror against the United States and out allies, which they then did.

I'm not sure how Hezbollah attacking someone can implicate Iran. Hezbollah is a political and militia organization in LEBANON, which is not a part of Iran.
Again, this is confusing the religious wing of Iranian politics with governmental bodies. Just because two organizations are of the same sect (i.e. Sunni or Shi'a), they are not necessarily allies.
Anyhow, this is all moot, because we didn't invade Iran. We invaded Iraq. And they never attacked us.

To set the record straight, I went to Catholic school for 7 years, was raised Episcopalian, and have Baptist grandparents. I know ALL about Christianity.

Negative doesn't work in debates. The GSEs only account for less than 10% of the bad debt, so McCain had to morph the bubble into a bon fire so the GSEs could be blamed for lighting it. GSEs are only allowed to buy CONFORMING loans. None of the no income, no assets, no job, no payment on the principle and no money down loans made by the real estate speculators.
