  • Heyyyy omg...ur videos have inspired A LOT!!! I have also heard about great results from other people who've used p90x, i am definitely gonna get the videos! I have a question though, do i need to eat before the workout or on an empty stomach? thank you soooo much!!!

  • Of course no serious bodybuilders use P90x, P90X has a lot of cardio exercises in it that wouldn't work out for serious bodybuilders. But then again ask a bodybuilder to run two miles and id me surprised if they could finish the first mile.

  • Nice work.... But p90x doesn't and cant build big muscle. This is evident in your lacking traps.

  • Question, if you use heavier weights, lower reps, and take some more whey protein and such, would that get you more bulk?

  • @nfarnham2008 Thats a good way to start, and especially if you havent lifted weights before, you will gain a ton of mass from doing that. Check out Rippetoes Starting Strength program (google) many people have gained lots of mass off of it, its a heavy weights and lower rep program.

    But this isn't to say that a routine based on good form and very good muscle contraction with higher rep range wont give you the mass you want, it will too. Just try experimenting. I recommend the Milos Sarcev secrets of the pros dvd, it goes into great detail about every excercise from an ifbb pro bodybuilder

  • Okay, thanks. What I will probably do, is do some research a little more, and in the end I will probably still use P90X, and I can either modify the weight/reps, or after i'm done with day 90, start bulking.

  • @nfarnham2008 yeah, definitely, its a fine line between 8 to 10 reps heavy, to bulk, or 12 to 15 to get ripped... on both keep high protein intake. mate im doing it im on week 4 and its amazing shit. go for it. dont question it or look for excuses man, if muscles you want, the fact it the more ripped you look, the bigger you look. people tell me that i look bigger, not really, only more ripped, veins are out... and if it is to get ripped what you want, then this is it. go for it buddy. peace

  • Nah man your wrong, P90X is honestly the best program out there wheather you want to slim down and get lean or bulk up some weight. If you really do want to bulk up do less reps and more weight.

  • @thegame2991 You are correct in saying that you could use the program to bulk up, but you would be wasting your time.

    This is why NO serious bodybuilders use P90X to bulk up.

  • Are you from Maine? You remind me of a local midcoast or southern Mainer. Core synergistics is my favorite, then yoga. I find the Kenpo obnoxious, only as a matter of personal taste.

    Kenpo is alright but gets easy for fast. X+ Kenpo Cardio Plus is a whole different story though.

  • Yessha budday, ats what I thunk. Haha. I am from Maine too, right now I live in Bangor and the accent is a LOT thicker here. I've been doing kung fu for 10 years, so the kenpo just goes against so much Dogma for me that it is unbearable to watch. Thats all I meant by "personal taste" really. I'm sure I'd enjoy that if I didn't have this. I've been doing p90x for 3 weeks 3 days. I must say: I am impressed. I don't like the rest days, so I just do the stretch DVD on them. Great job!

  • wow yeah I played wow for years - Like 8-12 hours at a time. It was ridiculous!
