  • cool, thought i was weak or something cuz im ALWAYS worried about hitting shoulders hard and always parnoid about my form and stuff. The first 6 months i was lifting my bones and joints in shoulder always hurt, so bad id be up in bed at night.  now im much more careful, glad im not the only one that finds shoulders joint easy to bang up.

  • training shoulders isn't agbout hitting it the hardest, u can destroy them sooo easily... and once they are destroyed u always have problems with it :( got some experience with it..

  • ya shoulders are gay when it comes to injury doing any military or behind the neck presses can mess them up i your not super careful

  • @ActOfAnger do you know if you can do the seated smith machine shoulder press with bad rotator cuff problems? i just turned 18 and im having major problems with my left shoulder.

  • @CptHappyP4nts probably, because u don't have to substain the movement with the press.. I would try it with low weight and boost it in small steps, to see where ur limit is. maybe u should do some exercises to strengthen ur shoulder rotators. if they are really strong u won't have anymore probs.

  • Wow he's really hitting those traps hard with barbell shrugs. I prefer dumbbells.

  • well a trap bar is similar to dumbbells dumbbells however you jsu get to work each side in isolation
