The first 6 months i was lifting my bones and joints in shoulder always hurt, so bad id be up in bed at night. now im much more careful, glad im not the only one that finds shoulders joint easy to bang up.
training shoulders isn't agbout hitting it the hardest, u can destroy them sooo easily... and once they are destroyed u always have problems with it :( got some experience with it..
@ActOfAnger do you know if you can do the seated smith machine shoulder press with bad rotator cuff problems? i just turned 18 and im having major problems with my left shoulder.
@CptHappyP4nts probably, because u don't have to substain the movement with the press.. I would try it with low weight and boost it in small steps, to see where ur limit is. maybe u should do some exercises to strengthen ur shoulder rotators. if they are really strong u won't have anymore probs.

Don't bother with either, use a trap bar, best way to hit them.
