In the late battles (post-revolution) it is the tricolor flag.

The white and fleur de lice one is the flag of the french royalty. The current french flag was chosen after the french revolution in 1789.

lol i was hearing of a guy who starts games and his tactic is to charge with line infantry and as soon as he hits the enemy lines he retreats. i dont know what purpose that serves but i guess if you are playing a 2v2 you can draw a single enemy at you to make it 2v1.

well, i believe it's to get the enemy army closer, so he could charge with his cavalry, when they least expect

Yes this game has alot of bugs. But its probably the best Stragety game I have played. The servers crash alot, it lags alot, but in total when it's working its the best game. Besides it still new they'll fix it up.

I was spectating this match, so thats why most of the HUD was removed.

You can minimize the HUD a good deal if you go to Options, Game Interface, Then select the Minimal HUD tab.
