With all due respect you have made an assumption that I think is flawed which is, that if Osama is still alive, he would stay hidden because he would want everyone to think he is dead so they stop hunting him. With all due respect you have made an assumption that I think is flawed which is, that if Osama is still alive, he would stay hidden because he would want everyone to think he is dead so they stop hunting him. I think this is wrong. If he were still alive wouldn't he come out at some point and broadcast it with a video so as to humiliate and punch America in the nose, and create huge morale for his cause. Therefore BHO wouldn't stage his death since that would destroy him.

It would have been advantageous for Osama to let people think he was dead so there was no point in persuing him. Bush himself said he thought Osama might be dead, there was no point in keeping up the search. So he transferred most of the troops to Iraq.

For yrs it was an interesting place where interesting guests and callers exchanged ideas. A favorite host was Alan Handleman - .was unbiased
This yr's transformation of Handleman's show is radical and shocking to long time listeners. He spent Mon and Tues (6 hrs), praising Obama, and slandering non believers in the Osama killing.
