  • che creatura divina!

  • he is WAY too good-looking

  • some will know what I'm talking about, some won't, but maybe they should do a bio-pic on Morrissey's life and have Daniel Day Lewis portray him.

  • @INITIALSJE sometimes when im watching an interview of day lewis, his gestures and his shy laugh remind me of mozza definately. maybe too old now though.

  • hes so mysterious but i feel like i know him

  • poet laureate of ireland

  • the theme music to Mr. Champlin's show has not aged well .... hahahaha

  • Mr Yum-Yum.... If I ever saw him on the streets of Manhattan I don't know if I could contain my overwhelming enthusiasm...

  • I have this on video and despaired of ever seeing it again. Thanks for posting.

  • I'll get a lot of thumb down from this but I have to say that he looks a bit like vampire in here - charming, gorgeous and not to mention that he's such a talented actor. He looks very different in each movie. I admire him.

  • Charles Champlin? you got to be kidding..

  • I thought exactly the same thing, lol.

  • @Jaymeizter01 if not for that "m" he coulda really been somebody

  • Very handsome, such a gentleman and the best actor I've yet seen.

  • Emma, you are the best. I just had to say thanks again for the DDL videos.

  • brillant actor, greatest in the world, but one of the worst dressers that i have ever seen.

  • his looks beautiful in this... what a man

  • daniel day lewis just gets more handsome with every year that he ages

  • He is so down to earth. So handsome. Beautiful. He still is, at the age of 50...

  • holy goodness.. he is so gorgeous.

  • EMMA ur awesome for having these interviews!!

    Thanks very much!!

  • I don't know where you're getting this interviews of DDL being impossibly hot, but THANK YOU!

  • I am so delighted to see this. I had wanted to post some footage I had of Daniel from this time but the video quality was poor. I'm so grateful to those who are keeping my 22-year love of DDL alive through YouTube memories like this footage. Do you all remember his Oscar speech in 1990 for 1989's "My Left Foot"? He looked like a Romanticist brought 160 years into the future. he was remarkable.

  • Y does this part keep pausing?

  • He knows he's mysterious and he likes it that way. I just appreciate the work he has done and continues to do. We all know the broad strokes about his work and we don't need to know every silly detail. Like Brando once said - "they try to pick your nose and then smoke it." May he continue to hunger for the good roles - unlike too many others (DeNiro doing credit card commercials, Pacino walking though shlock etc.) cause I rather watch him every five years than other sell outs every 5 months
