  • This would be a good video if you'd taken out all of the MMA bullshit.

  • WTF!!!!! the time! it's all messed up!

  • 0:55 LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i watched this video in 2008 and i forgot the name of it man its so good i've found it

  • @maxxonpower Yes, also another style that indirectly influenced the making of your precious BJJ from which you're reffering to "take-downs" that already had names way before they were given such idiotic synonyms. Basically, Kyokushin Karate teaches "take-downs" or Nage and Sutemi-waza. Or atleast some schools do. So before running your mouth on internet, make sure you know what you're talking about. If you don't, keep it shut.

  • @maxxonpower for their morning exercise...Not to mention what their physical condition training look like. On top of that most Kyokushin tournaments are OPEN, which means NO category.

Third of all, Masutatsu Oyama's Kyokushin was based off of Shotokan and Goju-Ryu in which Masahiko Kimura (Yes, the guy who beat Helio Gracie's ass) was trained as well, not to mention the influence from Daito-Ryu Aiki-JUJUTSU.

  • @maxxonpower So you're saying Kyokushin practitioners are dumb, don't have normal physical condition and don't know what a takedown is? Let me educate you a lil' about Martial Arts, in this case Kyokushin. First of all, to practice any form of Martial Art you have to have a greater understanding of it that goes over "I'm stronger than you, I can easily take you down and my Martial Art is better than yours"

Second of all, Kyokushin practitioners are highly trained athletes that punch tree trunks

  • ESTÁ DE HUEVOS!!!!

    KYOKUSHIN KARATE RULES!!!!

  • 1:11 nice grab

  • Comment removed

  • its back! YEA! I loved this video!

  • 0:53 I thought the small guy was cornered into a beating....... imagine my surpise when the other guy dropped!

  • man i think this stuff is way better than UFC this is real MMA, with actual martial arts.

  • dang i have been looking for this video

  • ill own those 2 kids at 1:03

  • @mal0018 hah

  • kyokushin T_T

  • Yeah especially when you write that spinning kicks "IS" useless. Ever heard for plural, hater?

  • 2:40 I dare someone to say that spinning kicks are useless again

  • I think what people mean by that is that in an actual event, where self defense it needed, it is highly unlikely you will pull off a successful spin kick.

Considering that people in the video do a lot of stretching and warming up before trying something like that.

  • I can pull a spinning kick without stretching...or warming up. My profile videos should be proof enough for that. If I recall correctly, my main video (540 kick) was done without any warmup or stretch.

I'd be inclined not to use it in a fight, however. Especially if it's all close-contact fighting. Then I'll just a kung fu/jujitsu hybird style. But if theoretically a guy came up to me and started throwing punches...I might have the distance to kick. Of course though, it's just a maybe.

  • i haven't done any of my martial arts (Kyokushin) in a few years, but a lot of what i'd learnt comes as second nature...so, i'd assume it would be the same thing with anyone who'd studied and trained something over a long period of time, you dont think about it, you just do it i guess...rofl

  • Yep, and that's exactly why I think certain kicks are possible in fights. Even if they're semi-flashy...or fully flashy for that matter!

    +1 to you =)

  • Haha, +1 dude. I think a lot of people get the wrong idea about kicks because TKD can be so easily defeated (unless you're Sherkan Yilmaz...he pwns). If there was a Kyokushin/TKD hybrid style, it would be nearly as intimidating as BJJ. Agreed?

  • yeah lol good luck pulling off a 540 in a fight when you'r in a rush of adredeline (i can't spell) The best street defence martial arts i know of are muay thai, judo and even nintaijutsu.

  • I can think of a few situations where it would be possible. Though, I have pulled a 540 (and other show moves) with TONS of adrenaline in me. Given that a 540/powerful tornado kick is a fairly "basic" move, I think it wouldn't be too hard. Afterall, Sherkan Yilmaz pulled a C720 kick in a K1 match.

I personally advocate for BJJ + TKD + Jujitsu/KFSS/Krav Maga, but that's just me =).

  • I was talking about in self defence, if a 7 ft phycho attack you, you can't really just do a 540. You wouldn't really know what to do unless you've trained your self as that to be your first reaction which takes a long time to do.

  • I don't know about that, actually. A 540/tornado isn't that much harder than a jump front snap kick (that's my experience of it anyway). My first reaction with a 7 ft guy is probably going to be a throte punch/strike or a groin attack. However, if I have distance, my first reaction probably WILL be a tornado kick. Because that kick is one of the best ways for me to reach my opponent's head...one of my favorite targets =).

    Continued...

  • ...Continued

I do agree with you though, it would take a lot of training...almost to the point of not being "worth it" just for the self-defense application of it. However...if you do "tricking" like I do, you get PLENTY of practice in =).

  • Fair enough.

  • Haha, +1 =).

  • @ShoMikagami In my country that is always how ground fighters are beat lol

  • @ShoMikagami YES! On the street Yes they are useless, in the ring with a ref, well I guess it does!

  • @ShoMikagami YEA! THEY WORK GREAT WITH A REF! street? not so much

  • wooow

  • they just hit them once in the face and their down

  • a kick is much harder then a punch but there not actually knocked out, so yeah

  • haha at :56 and :57 it looks like the big black man (dont know his name so thats what im callin him) started crying

  • lol at the end it also looks like someone is crying.. sense - this sentence has none :)

  • love this video:))

  • kyokushin ftmfwin

  • Good vid!!!!

  • ~Nice work! One of those big kyukushin (however it's spelt) dudes has got some lethal spin kicks, fast as you like!!

  • AMAZING!

  • Bob sapp is a sap, really sad that guy

  • doesn't this video make you want to learn some martial arts and fight too??

    lol

  • who are fighting from 2:42? the black guy vs the white?

  • on 1:31 that was the GAYEST KICK ON EARTH! it was just luck( considering the fatc he could of break his toes)

  • It worked didn't it? .

  • how is kicking someone in the face luck? yeah I kick with my shin...but it put that guy on his ass. Just cuz ur Muay Thai instructor says its stupid doesn't mean it wont work sometimes.

  • STUPID! i never said kicking someone in the face is luck!! i dont want anyone to go against me but i never meant it was a gay kick! its just the way he positioned himself!(he could of broke his toes) i LOVE THE VIDEO THOUGH, BEST!

  • yup it's bad! but that's hi level karateka, they condition their toes by hard training :)

  • Your an idiot

Fighters wouldnt break their toes just like that, if u train hard for many years you will be very conditioned, you wont break your toes like a noob commenting on videos on youtube would

  • he would not have broken his toes because karate kicks hit with the ball of the foot. This is much better than shin kicks for two reasons. A) the impact area is more concentrated and will have more of an effect. B) if the shin, or the arch of the foot is blocked with an elbow, trust me, the person will be limping for the next month.

  • not rly it just depends if ur use to it

  • A true martial artist must always remember his/her art form is not for show or for awards. The true martial artist remember the old ways and the new to keep his/her body and soul at peace. Practise hard and one day anyone can become great.

  • Kyokushin It's not culture of karate do..!!

  • oo ta con ganas =O

  • btw do u have another verison of this song that uses the remix to the song? i mean the more modern version i think in reanimation CD, lol sorry i htink that one sounds better! i dont like this verison of the song but still gr8 vid man!

  • by face contact i mean punching to the face, i think kyokushin would be pefect if they had face contact for punching, but just punching to the body isnt always gonna be helpful. Karate and taekwondo needs to stress punching to the face and grappling. thats why u have all these MMA guys saying that karate and taekwondo dont work.

  • wtf are you talking about

  • its called kyokushin its a style leraned by the us octupation in japan.

  • what karate is that where they actually hit to the face? does anyone know any karate's that actuall have face contact?

  • there are different forms of karate, which include full body contact!

  • Zendokai,Daido Juku,Shidokan .

  • Well I'm not really sure, but they might hit to the face in Shotokan...

  • Nice Vid. pretty cool.

  • made me happy when that little white boy nailed that big black guy

  • damn!!! at 2.46 the dude looked like a black heihachi of tekken.

  • the huge black guy at around 50 sec was like "damn! i need to take a seat" lol

  • who is that fighter (1.19)

  • lechi kurbanov the guy is great

  • watch my kyokushin videos,

i am nowhere as good as them but i'm trying :)

  • at :51 what pride event is that where Bob Sapp fights Cro Cop?

  • 1:26 omgwtfbbq

  • Fedor Emelianenko owns Cro Cop

  • i love linkin park !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <33

  • Cro Cop the best

  • Well he did miss with it twice, then again, he also ko'd the bugger, and after being thoroughly disrespected. I was happy to see the guy without respect for his opponent kiss canvas. Anyone know what fight that was? I'd like to see the whole thing.

  • la musica ..jo q mala es no pega nada con el video joooooo

  • Shotokan karate is good i think, and ive heard Kempo is very good. Kyokushin is the strongest though :)

  • he's also at 1:45 smashing some dude lol

  • He's a Chech named Lechi Kurbanov ;).

And his style is Kyushukin Karate.

  • I mean Kyokushin =)

  • he'chechen not chech!

  • hey someone tell me what style of fighting is the guy at 1:24 using, hes like greek or iraq looking and you see him a bit more after.

  • 1:24 who's this guy??? please someone?

i would like to see him against narushima.

  • Yeah he's awesome.

    Dunno his name though.

  • u mean lechi kurbanov?

  • Linkin Park are shit....

  • be better if it wasnt kyokushin karate. shotokan is way better. but great vid non the less. 4/5

  • Shotokan is better?

Wow what universe did I wake up in?

  • mas oyama at 1:04

  • 2:56 was so Hwoarang from tekken 3

  • 2:40 I'd like to see someone object again that spinning kicks(ura mawashi) are useless and flashy...

  • that sorta fat guy was my trainer :) he was a good teacher!

  • nothings wrong

  • mirko filipovic rulles

  • 0:55 Lmao !

  • ROFL wtf?XD He went down... that's called retardedness xD Nice vid, nice song, great work :)

  • 0:26 nice kick to the face

  • the 1:11 is the best :)

  • i know how yo do 2:15 its pretty easy once you what to do......

  • 01:26 that was one sweet kick.

  • who is the guy on the minute 03:09

  • 2:40 freakin owned!

  • That was cool. God I love martial arts!

  • holy mother fucking shit! i cant believe this awsome ass lp song i havent heard of can be sooo great!

  • nice kicks but we ill need them, i mean i don't fight to much.

  • go Cro cop!

  • Great video.

  • 1:24 who's this guy???

  • omg 0.50-58 how can that be a fair match up?

  • Mirko Cro Cop the guy smaller than the big dude, was fighting in a pride open weight grand prix and he won it. Thats pretty insane.

  • yes but bob sap decided to stop the fight because he couldn't see anymore. anyway mirko is now retiring, and the new guy will be zelg.

  • Mirko isn't retiring. He's moved onto DREAM and has expressed interest in returning to UFC after he's done there.

  • Is this Mixed Martial Arts?

  • no most of it was karate(traditional)

  • Yes, ucan learn both serperately and mix em up urself.

  • it's possible to combine karate and kickboxe??by traning the 2 sports...

    please answer

  • Kickboxing was developed as full-contact Karate, so yes, it has already been 'combined' (as far as the striking techniques go anyway).

  • There's no clips of straight out tae kwon do / TKD in this video I made. All gathered clips are pretty much what I noted in the description. Some of the kicks may be used in both TKD and karate or kickboxing, etc, but no clips of TKD tournaments or whatnot are in this.

  • some of them r TKD ^_^

  • the guy on 00:09 is my idol. Mirko Filipovic on the left. I hope he knocks Minotaur. CROATIANS RULE!!!!!

  • These guys are all pretty boys, I'm pretty sure I could teach them a thing or two about fighting, in an old fashion pub brawl.

  • lol lol pool cues and chairs FTW!

  • if you had a pub brawl with kyokushin karate black belt .. they are trained with weapons so a pool cue would obliverate you! FTW xb

  • black guy at 0:55 took a dive......

  • No dive, the guy's heel clipped him. He was trying to pummel him the whole time before hand, and had knocked him down previously. The karate-ka was pretty much setting out to solely KO his opponent with that spinning hook. :P

  • The guy who got spinhooked at 2:40 will never get back up lmao like holy that musta hurt like a bitch considering the fact that he even felt it lol, OUCH!!

  • can someone tell me who the black man in the karate-like uniform is? he appears close to the end of the movie. thanks.

  • This constisted of TaeKwond Karate Muay Tia,for once I saw a clip where the Muay Tia guy got owned. the big black guy at the end.

  • its Tae Kwon Do

    Kara-Te

    Muay Thai

     just thought id say

  • i think you forgot to mention judo, too...

  • i think you forgot to mention judo and ju-jutsu, too...and omg... i can't believe how good that kakato gheri at the 2:56 was!

  • oh i was correcting some ones spelling but thanks for clearing things up.. i must of posted it on the wrong video by mistake

  • wow 2:40 = rape

  • linkin park is ok and this is one of their best songs

  • crazy kicks

  • Just because u don't like Linkin Park, u don't have to talk shit about them.

  • great vid, but Lechi kurbanov is the best (and great kick at 1.22)

  • This is the best martial atr viveo i have seen in youtube.

    Wow

  • Hooray for the guy in the GI at 2:51!

  • 2:39, now thats a kick

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!

  • u must say thanx to the Daisukey from the scenes of Kyokushin...

  • I know, he does have a watermark in his videos which is handy, but yeah. He has so many kyokushin vids. Great highlight maker, too.

  • i wish i could learn karate again :/ i ust to do it and i was great but my mum wont let me take lessons ):

  • Blerg! thats irritating! Do it anyway ^_^ Or cut all her arguments to dust when she says no. Like make her tell you why, and then di-fuse it. Thats what I did for my mom to let me do boxing ages ago.

  • cro cop needs to come back to his old self and whoop on everyone in the ufc

  • I agree...everyone knows he is better than all of them, but the cage makes it harder than the usual ring that he uses, because he doesn't train in a cage.

  • dude this is great vid tnx for putting Mirko Filipovic in the video he is the best and he is from croatia =),Croatia ftw :)

  • the best style of fight is the muay tahi .!!!the other is bery DEVILES.!!!!!.JEJE

  • very cool man;)..THIS IS MY LIVE TO!! TKD WHO SHO K.A....

  • Nice I love different styles in this vid I need to get into martial arts myself.

  • thats what you think you faggot but kung fu is better then any other fighting style

  • This song RocksS! but the video is olso Good!

  • 2:40... totally destroyed

  • excellent

  • well i didnt start the argue

  • kung-fu is better then karate and judo stupid fools

  • Oh boy!You make me sad. Only guys who doesn't respect martial arts can tell like this.

  • Im a kung fu practitioner but im at least humble enough to say that its about the fighter and not the style. Even though the best street fighters Ive meet were Kung Fu fighters(Read wing tsun, chun). ive meet some crazy azz japanese guys in bare knuckle fights though.

  • You're right about; it's the fighter and not the style. Just look at Bruce Lee... his later on development has major difference compared with his original styles.

  • Cudos to Bruce Lee. He was a good MMA but the thing is that Im not sure if he could go a fight. I really have no clue about that. Its his teachings of being humble that alot of fighters should take up on now though. They are focusing outwards and not inside. Kinda sad, MMA in all its honor but its not the best shit out there. Its the fighter not the style.
