Flooding in Westchester, IL - 7/24/2010 - 8:30 a.m.

I'm in Cook County,our backyard got flooded,and at like 3 or 4 in the morning,the sewers started backing up.

I've lived in Westchester 30 years. The spirit of the people is incredible. We have wonderful police and fire departments and our mayor was on the case in the wee hours of the morning already with excellent phone communication with everyone. This a community I feel very lucky to part of, especially in times of emergency.
