  • "The Guard" brought me here. I love arthouse horror, only have seen Antichrist and Possession though.

  • The premiss to this movie is ludicrous but, I wanted to see this movie because, I'm putting together a 100 best of list for horror films and I wanted to see if this movie is worth putting on there. Does anyone think this is worthy of being on a 100 best list for horror films?

  • Great film, but its nowhere to be found. Netflix doesn't acknowledge its existence. Help!

  • @glgioia - they have it for sale on ebay!

  • Waaw, this is a great movie, nice pictures!

  • i didn't like this movie :(

  • I would love to be dwarfed by his awesome shout.

  • @tdwpuo haha this cracked me up x

  • Tony Banks of Genesis did the music for (all of?) this film.

I recognize the bit from 1:44 ~ 1:58 as the opening of his solo work, "A Curious Feeling". :-)

  • This film had a big impact on me when i saw it years ago.So few people have ever heard of it.Such a shame.

  • This came out around the same time the Shout laundry liquid came out, but seeing it is British it probably is just a coincidence. Unless he shouted so loud it exposed some ancient Chinese secret.

  • This movie will be airing late early Saturday morning(1/16/10) on TCM(Turner Classic Movies). I cannot wait,it's been years since I've seen this underrated suspense thriller.TCM shows these underground cult classics uncut just like in the theaters. A few months ago, TCM showed 2 Russ Meyer classic films"Faster Pussycat Kill,Kill" and "Mudhoney" and another night"Sugar Hill"(with Robert Quarry) and to my surprise all were uncut with nudity and curse words.

  • I remember seeing this at the South County Cinema in St. Louis, which was baffling because it was basically a commercial theatre and an art film like this sure confused the folks in the theatre that I saw this with. I was most likely the only person that night that enjoyed it! Glad I got a chance to see it then since it's hard to find these days....

  • it sucks...

  • Brilliant!

  • Great trailer for an all-time classic art-house film. Thanks.

  • What a film! This is the most important thing!!!

  • What a cast.
