Fans should keep pressing CAPCOM to bring back the old Phoenix. I mean comon! Phoenix is the biggest icon in Ace Attorney series & has devoted fans all over the world, Fans are dying to see more Phoenix Wright's actions in court. The way they ruined his image in Apollo Justice is stupid n' unforgivable. I never like any new characters in Apollo Justice, they all seem so wooden n' lack charisma unlike the originals. Also Apollo is not even half as sharp as Phoenix as a lawyer! Shame on u Capcom!

@shalomantony Hmph... Klavier didn't really win that trial. There was no verdict in the end, and, Phoenix only lost because he was set up-- cheated against. Which means, Phoenix would have won that trial, if not for Kristoph. ^^.

@shalomantony I don't think Phoenix's attitude was over-confident though. In Japan it's very rude for a rookie to show no respect towards someone who's older & more experienced in life. We can recall that Klavier had been rude to Phoenix since their trial began. I believe Klavier was the one who threw the first punch. Phoenix was only reacting his rudeness. Of course Klavier was influenced by his scumbag brother, Kristoph. Thankfully Phoenix got his revenge by sending Kristoph to death sentance

@shalomantony Actually, in my opinion, Phoenix was right to be overconfident. If anything, Klavier was the overconfident one. He was waiting the whole time for Phoenix to play the evidence that Phoenix didn't actually know was forged, being completely confident and ready to jump down Phoenix's throat when it happened.

Phoenix's forte was winning cases that seemed hopeless, when he was mostly in the dark. I guess it was in his nature to feel overconfident. >_<

@shalomantony *HOLD IT* Well, I can only speak for myself, but the thing that bugged me about Apollo Justice, was that Polly never developed on his own like Phoenix did. In fact, I felt a distinct lack of development or character depth. Apollo gets overshadowed by Phoenix, and fans hate what Capcom did to the guy. Thus, fans wanted Phoenix Wright 4, or Apollo Justice 1, but felt like they didn't get either. I do however, like Klavier, since he seems to follow Edgeworth's ideals and still be fun.

@narutardkyuubi Apollo didn't develop because he never had time. The first game was setting up his origin for the future, and that's why he was maybe a bit passive compared to Nick. However, he is personally more invested in the plot than Phoenix was, which means that Takumi used GS5 to set up another grand story like they did with GS 1-3, however, they kept Phoenix in to also show how he grows up, and so you can compare him to Apollo. Eventually, Apollo will grow up into his own like Nick did
