Beautiful review, and while I agree that Gary offers the Course in the vernacular, while being completely faithful to its content, I must say that I would wish people would stop saying that the Course is difficult to understand. For me the Course was the first spiritual book that puts it all together, and cuts right through the crap of the 'mysteries of the faith' and such ego-nonsense that prevents us from true insight. Other than that DU is evidently also an inspired book, and a great intro.

I'm all for "keeping it real" spirituality! Great review. I have only read Marianne Williamson's work and will definitely consider Gary's book to get a better understanding of the Course. What do you think of newcomer Gabrielle Bernstein?
