  • Hi Allister, I'm very limited in the foods that I eat - meat and potatoes mostly - so it's not surprising that I haven't sampled vegemite. In fact, the only time that I have ever heard that word was in the Men At Work song, Down Under.

Alcohol pouring efficiency! Now there's something we can all applaud. LOL Ray

  • BUTTER?? oh goodness I didnt hear of that, maybe I should try that again... no I dont think so...

  • No-one told you about the butter? This is a scandal! Maybe ASIO, the Australian equivalent of the CIA is running a vegemite sting.

  • I smelled something like vegimite later... I thought I was just going to die.. my tummy started to twist and churn... it wasnt good

  • Now you tell me about the butter. Is this some secret Australian cultural culinary code your breaking? I've never heard anyone talk about the butter before when referring to Vegemite. You let us fools eat it straight like a bunch of idiots while you Aussies sit back and have a good laugh. LOL!!

This explains a great deal. There isn't anything that enough butter can't improve upon.

  • LOL I sorry that no-one informed you of the vital role butter plays in the business of vegemiting one's toast or crackers. I shall write to our Prime Minister and suggest that he put a stop to the dreadful wave of amateur vegemite representation. Cheers and god bless Captain Morgan.

  • OK, no one told me to put butter on it. That could have helped. I imagine that it is an acquired taste. Thanks for the video response. I loved it.
