I recent saved up to buy Vegas Pro 10, and so now I'm confronted with the issue of tutorials and inspiration. Any advice tehninjarox??

@dean12345123 CorsairAMV has some nice tutorials, some are for after effects and adobe premiere though, but I think he does have some vegas pro tutorials too. As for inspiration when I'm stuck I usually take a random song and random anime and just mess around with it until something springs up.

Even though i've used Vegas before, for my first AMV i'm working on i'm using just 1 anime to make the process easier (don't have to go out and find different clips everywhere/familiar with that anime's scenes if you watched it intently) :P That's just me though. Good luck to you!

You could get Sony Vegas Platinum for about 50 dollars. It doesn't have as many features as pro does, but for most people starting to make anime music videos and such its more than enough to get the job done.
