First off, Beyonce is a pop/hip-hop singer. Forget her French, her vibrato and phrasing are all wrong for this style. Tone intensity in American pop stylings commonly diminishes at the ends of phrasing. This is not the correct styling. I wish people would stop thinking they can sing anything just because they have one style down.

Everyone all over the world was watching and expecting this moment and her high notes, her "falsetes" notes are absolutely amazing. The 2:10 moment is something almost impossible for the voice and she does absolutely naturally.

@markicool i sing in french and i sang this song in a concert at my school and my first language is english. i had a solo and i actually pronounced the words right unlike beyonce. btw my french teacher said tht beyonce sounded horrible singing this song!!!!!!!!! P.S. my french teacher was born in france and lived there for 42 years and she is 52 now living in canada and teaching in my school
Personally for me Beyonce did a great job! She sounds here like a goddes! and i don't think she was supposed to sound as authentic french people. I enjoy the original version of the song and Beyonce's colloboration with this choir. it's marvellous
any idiot can butcher french, but if you're supposedly a bigtime pop star w/e, you should have enough money to hire someone to teach you the damn words, you don't just do it yourself because it makes you look incompetent
