My point was that a possible story line could be that Cameron was ordered to conceal John's demise and even to lead in his name for a time. However, things like the mutiny would have made it clear the humans would need a human or nearly human leader. As to John Henry, I'm suggesting she deliberately intended to help in his creation, possibly at John's order. She did tell present John that she was keeping things from him that future John knew of.

Sure she could kill John, she nearly did and she told him the command was still buried, waiting. The whole Jimmy Carter story was about the mutiny...Just as in the Caine Mutiny Jesse made a terrible call as Capt Queeg did everything right; he just didn't understand the strain on his human crew. The sub was scuttled after the mutiny. Certainly Cameron could take over the leadership for a short time if John died-and it explains why "No one talks to John now" as Jesse said. More in a mo

Interesting point, though I doubt that John in that timeline is secretly dead. Poor Queeg - did everything to the letter, and smooshed that L.T.'s head in after he tried to rape Jessie. After all, the penalty for inciting mutiny and attacking a superior officer is death.

Great show. My guess is Cameron has taken over the leadership of the resistance in the future from a dying (cancer) John, terminating him at his own request to free herself to make the choice to lead on her own. But knowing after the SS Jimmy Carter Mutiny that the humans will lose if they learn the truth, she's gone back at John's last order to save the resistance by creating a worthy AI opponent to Skynet, John Henry.

if you look at T2, the terminator is able to understand and apritiate human existance, therfore able o 'feel' to an extent. Cameron's template was able to assimilate human emotion. She isn't incapable to not feel, after seeing glints of emotions during the majority of season 1. after this event, then she seemed more than inteligent enough to emulate the artie system and use the elements of the program in an - again - human way. So there could be hope for her and John.

That depend on how you define "love". Maybe you think love as simply to have sex. But for me, love means that to have someone i can trust, someone i can always count on in desperate situation, someone who won't leave me no matter what, and someone who will comfort/make conversation with me when i am alone or sorrow.. It seems Cameron is capable of doing all that, so i can conclude that i will fall in "love" with her, maybe love her as a lady companion or my little sister.

@SubBlaze1 Yeah, I see what you mean. I love my pets for the companionship they bring. They can't exactly empathize with me the way a person can, but they still comfort me when I'm sad. Though it seems like a weird analogy, you could probably get a similar relationship from Cameron. She'll do anything to protect John, she'll listen to him talk when he needs to talk, and she's (mostly) been trustworthy. In this sense, John could love Cameron, and Cameron is utterly devoted to him.

well..the series couldn't show all the detail due to time limit, and some of the minor detail is cut from the scene, although it will be nice to cover everything.But not all people like "lord of the rings" 's long story style. Ya i agree Summer act very well as Cameron, she is so "innocent".She is making her own judgement on the safety and well being of John without explaning them, you can notice she is quite "sad" when she is misunderstood times and again.
