how is this better than the nfl.... you punt the ball and have to catch it... and if you catch it whooppee you get a free 6 points, and if you suck you get 1. AFL is nothing compared to the nfl, absolutely nothing. It takes half the skill, half the endurance, its not a game compared to the nfl.

How long does a nfl game go for, 5 minutes a quarter, a average afl game goes for a 20-30 minutes a quarter, and thats non stop free flowing play. Nfl you kick the ball to the other side of the field, the opposition catches it and runs a few meters then gets tackeled. Then they slowly get into a hudle, and someone throws it through there legs to the quarter back and throws it to someone else who may or may not catch it, then gets tackeled a few meters away. And the game goes on and on like that.

And if you manage to score a try, you get to take a field goal, which gives you more points. Even though a the quaters only go for 5 minutes each, the game can go for an hour, its just a real boring sport, sure guys can smash others guys because they have padding, but if you want a sport that requires skill, and endurance, nfl isnt one. You mentioned that afl isnt a game compared to nfl, thats because its a competitive sport, not a game.

AFL is free flowing, your not stopping every four seconds because the ball carrier was tackeled, so you have to get into the huddle or what ever you call it, and start again. In AFL there is more scoring, the ground is a hell of alot bigger, alot more running involed, therefore more endurance is required, unlike in NFL when your team has the ball, the offense comes on, then when your opposition has the ball, your defence comes on.
